Pokken Tournament, because I'm a conformist.

This game fucking hates me and I love it. Like I didn't know what to expect because the last substantial thing I saw from it was Pikachu back when he had Mishima animations on everything. Let's just say I was pleasantly surprised. Also the soundtrack is kickin.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker- HD Edition (PS3)

Yeah, I still might not get my hands on the MGSV duology for some time, so Imma just jump back into this for the time being (and maybe watch Vinny's playthroughs of the aforementioned duology).

Oh, and the game is still as fun as I remembered it to be.

Doom Close Beta

... Or at least I attempted too, but for some reason my game keeps crashing on startup. I hope this is an April Fool's joke, instead of releasing a beta that you cannot even play because of bugs.

And I wonder why I got this Beta honestly, as I never joined it nor recall doing anything that would give me it. I suppose having Doom 3 in Steam was enough?

Edit: Umm, yeah my computer keeps making loud noises as if it's complaining about me loading this game. Guess I'm out of the Beta.

Hyper Light Drifter (Steam Version)

Pretty Interesting game, thus far. I've had my hand of bugs though.. infinite death loops due to autosave, crashing on starting the game, some characters have a sprite skip and disappear for a frame...

Otherwise, it's a pretty neat (and brutal) top down adventure. Plus the story telling is going the Souls series route of a bunch of seemingly random stuff happening and it's up to you to survive long enough to piece it all together.

Final Fantasy XV Platinum Demo

Kinda underwhelming? The trailer for the demo was better than the actual demo. I don't really get combat yet, but it still might turn out alright. Visuals were pretty damn perfect and voice acting was solid.

Life is Strange

Tried the demo of this on a whim, hated it at first, was intrigued enough by the end to buy it outright. I'm not sure what I was expecting, and some of the dialogue is absolutely cringeworthy, but this is pretty good so far. Believable mundane stuff mixed with touches of supernatural stuff, great music and at least one song I actually have downloaded, hopefully it keeps being good. Finished Episode 1, waiting on my internet connection to download more. The 'Prince of Persia but for social situations' gimmick is neat.

Pokken Tournament

Haven't had time to do anything but take a peek at each character in practice mode. Gonna try to main Gengar. I'm still pretty pleased with this game so far.

The FF XV Platinum demo is an extra thing, it's not directly related to the game in the same way the previous demo was.  They basically made it to show off the visuals and some of the fancy looking mechanics :)

Undertale

Despite initially being turned off by it, I went and got it anyway. Turns out its pretty good. The fights are neat, the musics good, the game is pretty funny, and the characters are generally okay. Except Undyne. Fuck Undyne.

Salt and Sanctuary - PS4

Enjoying this a lot. Reminds me of Castlevania. I've read that this is similar to Dark Souls, so maybe I'll check out those games after this.

I really wish that wasn't a PlayStation exclusive, as I loved The Dishwasher, both Dead Samurai and Vampire Smile.  And I enjoy Dark Souls.  But I suppose PlayStation also doesn't get The Dishwasher, so what can ya do.

Lightning Returns, it's fun and I'm enjoying it but it can drag on when you finished the main quest and most sidequests. Too much dead time at the end of the game.

Only character I didn't really feel bad for killing, nor did I consider saving, trash character with shit motives, killing monsters is bad but taking the life of a human being to break out a war on the surface is totally okay!

I don't recall hearing that from Ska's previous announcements?  Though after hearing it wasn't going to be on Xbox I presumed it wasn't going on PC either, stopped following the news for it too deeply.  The guys behind Bastion did something similar with that game they did after Bastion, looked really cool, didn't get a chance to play it because they left Xbox.

Well in that case yay for me.  I'd still like their little team of two to make a third Dishwasher down the road, but this looks fine as well.

Good news: My local library had this in stock.
Bad news: They didn't have Ground Zeroes :(
More good news: I already knew what happened in GZ so I'm not all that pissed.

But anyways, I know for sure that this game is gonna be a total timesuck for me, being open-world and all.

Playing this on a laptop is a nightmare
still a pretty fun game even if it is kind of hard
