It looks like you're adding them into the .sff as 32-bit .png files, which is why they're blurry.Your sprites need to be in an 8-bit format when you add them in, either as a .pcx or an 8.bit .png.Once you do that recolor the shrubbery in your new sprite the same colors as the large bushes and it should come out looking a little better.
Actually no I'm not. They are in 8 Bit before I add them in that's just how the sprite is. I'll go ahead and recolor the bush, but as far as the blurriness that's just there. I can't really fix that and honestly it's not that bad. You don't really see it while the stage is in motion.
