I think the triceps need to move just a bit more to match the elbows. They seem stagnant compared to how much the forearm(s) move. Still looks great though.

Those 2 frames should maybe be reworked (speaking of graphics), it clashes with the rest of the sprites in the action.
After this little nitpick it's awesome. :)

The Zs during Buu's winpose seem misaligned.

Lets talk sub systems.

Buu has stow special systems that no other characte rhas.

Chaos burst and Puddle stance

Puddle stance can be acchieved in several manners. You can perform a command attack on midair to fall into it, perform maniac ball and aim it at the ground or use its specific command.

While on puddle mode, he has absolutely zero attack options, he can however move very fast. Hes not invulnerable, he can be shot, bombed, kicked, the whole deal, but his hitboxes are very small during the whole thing and his speed increases.

Use it to slap vegeta in the butt after you have dodged his tantrums.




Chaos burst is the move to go for when you got hit by a combo thats building up to be really damaging, at any point after a couple of hits comboed.
It does no damage, but you can escape into puddle mode while exploding Buu body, and run the fuck away.
Use it on those opponents that like to trap you between attacks and cheap you out on wins by comboing you for 20 minutes, turn into a puddle and vomit on them!! That will teach them a lesson or two.

He looks sick. I dig the new animation for his "puddle" form. Much better.
Still seeing the heavy shading on his pecs during neutral, lol. I know, I'm a broken record.

Have to admit, the last Buu video I was worried that the movement (as in the gameplay) seemed a bit too restrictive. The new video has dispelled my fears; the Z2 Quality (TM) is clear when you see him in action.

There's a bunch of cool stuff that we haven't posted yet. I think it's more exciting for you guys if we keep some secrets, and then reveal them in trailers or let you discover them for yourselves!

I noticed quite a bit of size changing in his animations, stance is still a bit jerky, but I'm trust that stuff will get ironed out over time. Looks like hes coming together.
Spriting is hard.

Unfortunately the sprites and animations from early on aren't great, since I used this project to learn. :(  I won't be doing a full revamp, as to not get burnt out. Hopefully folks can look past a few ugly frames, and look forward to whatever character I might do next.
