Does Mugen 1.1 Run on Linux?

Does anyone know if it's able to run on Linux?  If not, are there any solutions to help it run?

Yes Mugen runs on Linux through a program called wine which is a Software that runs most of windows applications. As soon as Windows 7 was obsolete I transitioned to Linux OS called Linux Mint and it is very user friendly and it never once crashed on me. Also the startup is very fast compared to the Windows OS.

Any pointers on how wine works, and how to run Mugen on it?  I’m sorry I’ve been looking around and have not found any leads.  The help would be much appreciated.  Let me know if I’m posting this is the wrong section.

Also after you install the Software right click the mugen application click on open with other application it should then give you a list. Click on A wine application and it should automatically startup mugen.

on linux or Mac wine can't support OpenGL
so when OpenGL is used it's just a black screen.

So it's meaningless to use it under Linux or mac

I use wine for mugen 1.1 all the time and I don't come across the black screen problem you mentioned @beterhans everything seems fine on my end. It also probably depends on what Linux distro or what your PC/Laptop setup you are using.
