Colors and Generations proved to me that they finally figured the whole 3D Sonic thing out. But Episode 2 is another story.

How can anybody still trust a Sonic game at this point?  I'll concede that Colors was all right and Generations wasn't a complete clusterfuck, but with their track record I'm surprised anyone can look at a new Sonic game with anything less than a very generous dose of skepticism.

Unleashed was good despite the night levels. Colors was great. Generations was great. And the handheld titles that pretty much everyone always ignore were always good.

People still clinging to that Sonic cycle thing is just stupid.

^^ I actually agree about the Sonic Rush games being really good.  And I'm not a Sonic fanboy by any stretch of the imagination.  All I'm saying is that when the franchise has become pretty much synonymous with 'catastrophically disappointing crap' over the years, it's easier to be cynical about it.

It's good but difficult and excruciating. Everyone likes realism but Far Cry 2 takes it too far. Almost any encounter is dangerous, you die extremely quickly, stealth doesn't work, healing yourself is a pain, you have to drive everywhere, the map is a real-time map (Which is bad when your driving and reading it simultaneously.), but the game at it's core is extremely well done and it's multiplayer used to be the shit but it's probably dead now.

EDIT: Assassin's Creed 3 due by Holloween but you know that'll be pushed back.

I thought it was pretty amusing that the final boss is Akuma in that game.
