Yeah, this might be my second favorite episode after last week's so far. The pacing and action was PERFECT and everything I expected of this fight. But ugh, Centerfold. I mean yeah, at least it's still a J. Geil reference, but still...

Goddamn that episode was good.

Also the comedic timing of the jokes in crusaders has been really good. The toilet bit made me laugh.

Nonononono, Araki's stand is Heaven's Door. So probably what happens is that every time the art changes, his editor beats him up with Crazy Diamond, and heals him back up, but not quite perfectly so that Araki HAS to change his artstyle to compensate for his increasingly fucked up drawing hand.

Currently dyin since there are people with part 5 and part 6 profile pictures crying because of Avdols death at the forums.

Anyway,the last episode was TOO good.It wasn't even censored,holy fuck,I was expecting Avdol and to have a big black circle on his head or something.
The fact that I knew that mah nigga aint done yet kinda ruined the last moment of the episode

funny thing is that (unless the version I was looking at was censored somehow) you can clearly see there's no actually bullet hole in Avdol's face...he's just bleeding a little bit, but that's the type of thing only somebody who is looking for it would notice I guess?

And speaking of Araki having Heaven's Door...I wonder if he draws each chapter of JJBA in like an hour. Frankly it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Needs more Flow.

IIRC He had a bullet hole in the original panels when Araki wanted to, y'know, actually kill him off.

The sad thing is, I think the OVA handled it the best in that it showed the bullet approaching, cut to his bandana flying off, then showed him lying on the ground facing away so you couldn't actually see the wound. And while it was shitty that they cut out every fight between Avdol's "death" and his return, it ended up making the idea that the bullet just scraped his forehead more reasonable, since less time went by (apparently).
