Okay, looks more like a sadistic junky, in comparison that is.

Nio, I truly respect your work and respect you as man of great talent, I am very excited you've taken interest in this topic too.
As great as that bison is and as much as I like it, I feel it does not fit in with the art style of this set, please don't discard it, this is about Mugen after all, someone will use it.

as far as the other one goes, she needs some cleaning up and shade changes.  I've seen the original, you made her look so much better, I hope someone makes a KOF sprite style of her in the future.

Look, its that op kof memorial boss Gustab.

Any suggestions on how to make his mustache look better?  its so thin in all the art I could find, wasn't sure if I should have even added one.

If anything, it just looks like it goes too far onto the side, but other than that, it doesn't seems too different.

I still do not understand how someone who just sits in the background of KOF EX2 can be the basis for such an overpowered boss lol.

Shit

akuma is QUITE the step up, because to me the first one looks like asura (asura's wrath), and the second one is more akuma-like, however i feel like he is not as menacing as he's supposed to be? maybe it's just me.
Juri on the other hand, is a big improvement over the old one and is more 2003-like.

Keep it up bro!

Akuma and Juri are excellent updates. As for the Gustab. I'd recommend going a bit darker and bit thicker and see if you can do any shading with a thicker stash. The current one looks a bit transparent. :)

But it's sooo thin in the art work. :(  we will see I'll post one with a thicker stache and one with no stache.

No, edit what you want :)

Sorry for the double post but I am making a valid addition.

After making a post in the Spriters Bounty, I got a PM from StevenB, this is what he sent me,

he drew this from scratch and did a great job.

I made some minor changes so it fit the one that Swipergod is using in his full game, changes I made were very small.

Sigh, Edit:

changed more shading to match the style better

That's a decent Gouki edit, he certainly looks angrier and a bit more menacing on the first portrait.

That's also an incredible Neo Dio portrait. Part of me actually really likes how the original portrait by StevenB has one of the eyes to be darkened, though. For some reason, it just strikes me as sinister, which fits.

Shit

think i finally got akuma completed, made some minor changes that I feel give him more character the my original edit and my new edit

And now for some sweet new additions

I commissioned NiO to create a few portraits for me, he has made Goddess Athena already, its a great portrait really.

I then edited her to fit the KOF 2003 Portraits a little better

I also made Balrog today

I redid the stache to be a little thicker as well

As always, there is no such thing as bad feedback, please let me know of both good and bad.
