[/font]Well Hello to all, im glad to announce the return of the project we are making back at www.sanctuarysoldiers.com (http://www.sanctuarysoldiers.com)
Its been a rough two years, delaying wip, because of real life issues... nevertheless im back in action, so im proud to present my current work, hope i can have your opinions to make this the best saint seiya mugen char ever :D
Abit of history, this will be the 3rd time ive sprite this char....
U can see previous evolution in the old hyoga chars, including black cygnus sprites that i shared whit other teams...
This time i think there is no turning back :D
Here´s a preview o some of the old moves i am restyling and adapting to the new style.... also fixing some, and changing some more anims.....

Given that Hyoga is my favorite Bronze Saint, I'm highly looking forward to this. I just beg that you don't do the same mistake as the old Saint Seiya mugen characters out there, that give their characters a hyper move that takes like a half minute just to start.
Still, you're doing a superb job with his animations, and I honestly can't wait to be able to play with this!

MotorRoach, i understand what u mean, and i too hate that part, i still haven an idea on how to adress that issue, since the kata animation is saint seiya´s heart and soul, but i do think its nt always necesary, need to come up whit something cool for it :/
I came here so i can have thses opinions on how to make Saint seiya mugen, be at a better level, gamewise... so thakn you all , and please do share your opinions and ideas...

@Tsao-ri if you hadn't noticed that already, there's pixel blinking on his right(our left) feet. Not a big fan of Saint Seiya, even games, but those animations are so magnificent that I'm looking forward trying him and game you making in action :kugoi:

@porcaro, yes of course my numbre 1 guy is him, because he helped out a lot, bu we are trying to change the ways of the old ss mugen times... And i also have the idea to make him part of the mugen world not just a single game project
@Exl, yeah i saw, im doing more and more checkups when i put them on the sff file, and seeing them in action... thanx fo the notice...

This looks amazing and very close to my preferred sprite style. I might steal these when released to make a character in my style some day. ;) Keep up the great work my man.
I'm curious about sounds during your coding phase. Are there any to even use? Sounds are always my least favorite part of a project.

Yes, because im going for a more anime style, they dont show that much muscle, i think the thing to change if any.... its the previous ab shade... not really saint seiya style :/

Looks nice, but I'm not sure it's very functional since it has no range (even his hand extends further than his leg). Might want to pull his front arm back a bit and have his back leg step forward just a teensy bit so that Hyoga moves a bit forward with the kick (and that way you can make him return back to his original X position without it looking awkward).
Hope to see it finished soon, man!
