Time to reveal something: I've been working with him in some characters already, as I coded Ken and I am finishing Adon.
About the engine, its up to him, but I am coding using Mugen yet. I want to try it for sure, there is a lot of potential.
But I am not familiar with it yet.

Here are some more screenshots:

- The combos aren't 100% SF2, as the characters have magic series


- Special Move finish from MVC


- Hyper Combo Finish from SSF2


Oh my, that's awesome!

The only negative point I'd say is about modern sparks and some of them being misplaced. Aside this small detail, everything looks  fine :)
That wasn't coded by me and I think its just to show the sprites in action :)

In some cases, yes. But some chars were tied to the screenpack and would give a lot of work to make stand alone versions.
But I will take a look. Any specific suggestion?

Thank you all for your support. When I told Lord that his site was offline, he told me that he didn't really want to go back with him because he thought that people didn't remember him anymore and that since some creations were very old, they wouldn't be interesting anymore.

I showed him some posts about hosting his material and he was happy, now I'm going to show him this post to tell him that people do remember him and that he was (and still is) part of Mugen's history.

I'm sure he'll be happy :)

Battle Stormer Classics v2.0

And here is the new version of Battle Stormer Classics, an oldschool game, on a boss rush mode, featuring classics chars from classic games.



The project gameplay is very simple, far more based on platform games rather than fighting games:

• one round, no defense and no auto turn
• Two attack buttons and one special
• Some interactive backgrounds (platforms, items, breakable objects, etc.)
• Interactive lifebars, which reacts when the player was hit
• Non-playable bosses
• Characters from 16-bit systems or more

This version 2.0 features:
• 22 playable characters
• 25+ bosses / non-playable characters
• 43+ stages
• Story
• Compatible with newer Windows versions
• Non-moleboxed content
• Bonus Stage
• Interactive stage
• Stage Fatality

Lord Sinistro decided to retire from Mugen and, in conversation with him, authorized me to host his content on BMT.
As I am so grateful for all the help he has given me and having known him for so many years, I decided that his legacy at Mugen should be preserved :)
