There's one Chii in Penguin Heart that is like a hybrid of Dejiko and Chobits. PMH is not as random as DGC though.

So, I stated watching futakoi alternative, which is the second season to futakoi. futakoi is your run of the mile harem-galge series, actually it might be worse than averqage as the jokes are lame, there is no echiness and most of the routes are bland; it ends when the characters finish junior high ina  very inconclusive (i.e., no couples) way. I was expecting futakoi alternative to either continue it from highschool or to be an alternate route... and what an alternate route it ended being, now it has a different main character who is on his twienties, friend/couple with the teacher of the other series, while the neglected twins from the previous series now live with him, also he is a detective and aliens started invading the earth... I am really digging it after 3 chapters.

That sounds awesome, do I need to watch the inferior first series to watch this one?

yep, when someone greets two persons at the same time sometimes they go "domo futari-san" to not bother greeting them individually.

In the first series we never get to see the sakuuratsuki's twins father, we just know he has a lot of money; in the second series he is a yakuza boss.
