Our mission is to provide new graphical content for coders of Mugen, Openbor, Unity, RPG maker or any fan game engine and create new quality Sailormoon fan games.  :book:

The main goal is to add new graphical quality content to Sailormoon Fan Videogames done in the 90's arcade style.

    And there is the ultimate pipe dream that has INCREDIBLY slim chance of happening...MVC4. I know the likely hood of that happening is on the same level as pigs growing wings and flying but hey, Dreams Don't Die.

If there is a one I hope they stop making ridiculous game mechanics with easy tag switching along with gameplay focusing too much on making easy 50 plus combos. They should bring back 6 button layout too.

Can I request for 1 subforum for Project Sailor Stars Beyond?

I currently have 3 projects under my wing. One for Mugen, one for Ikemen and one for Openbor. I'd like to get some help regarding resources for both sprites and music/sound FX.

Hopefully this will turn out to have better chances of getting a release. Even Justin Wong couldn't do anything with that cancelled Capcom Fighting Jam on his channel.

Best of the movie are some random songs from those years, Black Widow like jumping Licker and Wesker being naked(well, you can just see his torso, nothing more. Same with Chris, but the guy is blurry and Claire makes fun of his chest being shaved).



I just watched it on Netflix just a few days ago. Unpopular opinion but I thought it was actually good. If you are looking for a more grounded and much closer to the source material this is the adaptation for you. I actually like the Leon actor who was Indian. Now bi-racial Jill Valentine I am still struggling even after watching the film. One problem with the film is that there are too many protagonists. I think this would have been better as a 2 part movie or a series but we already have a Netflix adaptation for that.

Overall I'd give it a 7 out of 10. If one doesn't like the film that is quite understandable especially when they're a big fan of the videogame. Personally I think it is better than the first Resident Evil film with Milla Jovovich in it. I hated the fact they killed Michelle Rodriguez off so soon. At least she gets to be back in the best and worst Resident Evil. Y'know. The one with the holodeck from Star Trek full of clones.  :bjugoi:

Thanks. I use to frankensprite a lot. These days I rarely use the technique (I actually use other body parts from different games like Variable Geo 2) and reserved for really difficult moves especially when I barely have any reference to work with especially when it's either the back side or a character is doing these yoga like poses which most KOF characters do.

Another one I almost forgot.

X-Men Mutant Academy 1&2. Both are fun with the sequel having more moves and characters and you can even play Prof. X. I normally don't like 3D games during this era but this is an exception. If you love Marvel Super Heroes you will feel right at home here. I like this game mechanic it has where you can transfer energy from one of three meter bars during the battle. I usually put energy in the meter bar that fills up faster where as the other 2 takes time to fill up.

As for the 3rd game X-Men Next Dimension which was only for the PS2  I didn't really get to play that one and I got annoyed with those launcher combos having this pause. Guilty Gear Strive does it right but not this one.

there were two i played one is from sega mega drive , one is from a console i forgot what it was i was too young to remember but i think it was a pc engine.

Honestly, this whole budget thing boils down to how incomplete is everyone. The veterans don't really need much other than getting their new moves included, and to edit Gato's eyes. So unless there are far more changes to them than what we've seen so far (Terry had a new aerial kick, but what else?), I don't think they will be a problem.

It's the new characters that bring this problem. So far, all we have is three Kwon animations. That's it. Nothing for the two guys in suits, or the boxing kid from Netherlands, or the coat guy, or the karate dude. The most sprites  I've ever done was 8 in a day. Well it helped I have something to trace over with.

Finished around 50 sprites in a month with Sailor Saturn back in May and the arcade style is one of the more difficult styles to work with. I'm assuming there's 400 sprites per character. I think it's doable with a team of 8 or 10 experienced and professional level spriters within a time frame of 6 months.

Not sure that would happens, I would like SNK do it but now I don't think so. If MOTW2 is really on development, probably would be 2.5D a la nu-KOF or SamSho2019... unless they contact Dotemu to finish and make sprites for the new fighters and new moves for old ones (as Capcom did with Inti Creates)

Yes, really few chances it happens.

But I would certainly not count on DotEmu to make it. Unless someone buy them an army of talented spriters to make all the animations in this precise style.

They are still working on Metal Slug Tactics. Would this game be profitable for SNK though?
