believe it or not but not everyone likes , plays, buys every new mario, zelda, metroid, kirby since 20+ years.

they might all be good..great..whatever but not everyone likes them. and nope we dont hate fun, we might just prefer other forms of fun

I like my fun to be fresh, new, shiny.

I thought Mario was fresh, new and shiny back when I played SMB in 1989. By Mario 3, I was ecstatic.
By Super Mario World in the SNES, it was the same old SMB3 in 16 bits. And it was all downhill from there for me.

Sorry, just not enough interest. Same character, doing pretty much the same thing. No progression. I'm clearly not their demographic, and I'll yawn again. 2D Platforming peaked at Shinobi 3 in the Genesis.

Nintendo is about raw gameplay, and it took me quite a few years before I could truly enjoy it but trust me people eat it up. Nintendo's winning formula will never change.

I do admit though that comment was a bit uncalled for. Nintendo has not been doing it terribly much, atleast compared to someone like activision. But bullshit like, SMG2 and 3dland just really rub me the wrong way.

Also dont try any of that fancy "HUR HUR YEAH SURE YOU GAMING ELITIST". Nintendo dont have the right to spoonfeed us shit for 60 euros more then anyone else does. Comments like that make you seem like a fanboy. If you have a problem with my views then explain yourself well or shut the fuck up.

The innovation isn't the issue. In fact, Nintendo is the most innovative gaming company as far as products and in the actual games. Mario and Zelda games almost always have a gimmick based around a crazy concept that is integrated into the core experience, in which case the core experience is the almost always the same, which is why people like it so much. The issue really is that Nintendo never really makes new IPs, they always have the same 5 or 6 franchises coming out with games but they rarely make new games with new character with new gameplay. That's my beef, you can make Mario games all you want but atleast switch it up every now and again.

Okay, settle down....
The point is that with every new Zelda and Mario game, it's technically a whole new experience, even the older versions gave out something new, which more than what I can say about God of War or Call of Duty these days...

It is mainly the fact that they do innovate the games(even Skyward Sword basically showed how motion control works in those types of games) so it's just you really.
