I guess Gimp will un-index (RGB) the PNG when you load it. I also know that you can edit palettes in Irfanview, just load the image > go to the image tab> go down to palette> and go to edit palette.

So I made another palette randomly.

This is based on (and by based on, I mean took the colors from his sprite, and added darker hues when needed) Warachia from Melty Blood.
