Even if the using of Nes Sprite would be cool in some way, I like the Chibi Shredder sprite that Dcat createt more.^^

I don't want to do that. I'll most likely use Bikini Shredder as the Midight Bliss. Maybe Karai will appear in a winpose or as an assist, I'll have to see.

Used KingPepe's Mighty Final Fight sheets for Shrunken Shredder and TheouAegis's rips from Inssmouth Mansion for the Monkey.

I'm very much a Mugen noob who can't identify the character bases for anything but the Capcom Marvel characters.  I beg you veterans to pardon my low standards and crass tastes in sprite art.

It's ok if you are not good at creating sprites, many users of the community like me can't make good sprites also and talk like they are the "great overlord of sprite creation" or something like that, and it's ok too that you like the Shredder sprite, and you don't have to apologize for it.^^
The members of this community are sometimes a little eccentric about there favourite chars, so don't take it personally if there comments are somtimes a little harsh.

If I remember the episode right it was not the shuriken who exploded, Shredder used the shuriken to hit a grenade in a showcase with some old weapons in it, and the the old grenade exploded then.

But the idea of Shredder using exploding shuriken's is still great.

Slowly working my way up to coding the April's apartment cutscene from the '89 arcade game.

Also I've been watching a few episodes of the old cartoon for inspiration and I've decided to include the explosive ninja star attack that Shredder uses during his retreat in 'Turtles on Trial'. I'm thinking it could have a few handy uses, first hit sinks into the opponent, 2nd hit occurs when the ninja star detonates. Could also work as delayed proximity mines if the star whiffs and hits the ground or the side of the screen instead of the opponent. Damage negated if the opponent successfully blocks.

Yea this Bikini Shredder looks nice, btw. I remember there exist a "Lady Shredder" in the Comics if im not wrong.

I'll get to work on Donatello's next, it'd be preferable if his Bliss was a mutant or non-human just for the simplicity of the color palette's sake and to keep with the theme of the rest of the gang. If there's no better fitting option than Irma though I'd gladly include her as well.

I would turn michael into april and donatello into irma, if you go that way of using outside characters.

Additionally I've been spriting Midnight Bliss based on the turtles' respective female counterparts or romantic interests.
Raphael and Leonardo's are complete thus far with their Midnight Bliss forms being Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo from the 1987 toon and the 1997 Next Mutation live action series respectively. Mikey's will be Kala the Neutrino from Dimension X, but I'm stumped on what to do for Donatello. I can't remember, did Donny ever have a love interest in any of the series? Or was there ever like a female counterpart to Donatello that I'm forgetting, doesn't have to be a romantic interest just a character that was portrayed as the female Donatello archetype?  I was playing with the idea of it being Metalhead or some generic robot since the title theme has made it canonical that Donatello does machines but I wasn't sure people would get the joke. Any suggestions?
