That's not what happened. He didn't just say "it's not my thing", he said "I vote no to gay marriage". Just because he doesn't like it himself, he's saying nobody else can enjoy it. So why exactly couldn't he let other people do it as long as he doesn't care ? He doesn't like it, why doesn't he just stay away from it and let whoever wants it do it ? If/when this guy can vote, he'll be voting so that gays who want to marry will not have the right to do it. What do you call that ? It may be a bit too far from you since you're completely uninvolved with that at your age, but at some point when you'll be of age to vote, you'll have to think about those things carefully.

Oh and I would vote yes because, it's not right to stop people being happy in there life.

My opinion is that if you aren't gay yourself you should not be allowed to have a say in gay marriage.  You know, because it has absolutely nothing to do with you whatsoever.  The way I see it is that anybody who says that gays should not be allowed to get married is an intolerant, arrogant jackass who thinks it's alright to tell someone else how they are allowed to live their own life.

He's answering the question asked in this topic, how do you feel about gay marriage. He's not acting like his voice should influence gay people when he has no connection to them, unlike you, douchebag.

Are you positing that everyone who posts in this thread is gay?  Because you seem to be posting quite a lot...

At any rate, like Byakko said, I'm answering the question the thread is asking.  I don't think anyone who isn't gay should get to decide whether or not gays can get married.  That'd be like me coming to your house and telling you what you are and are not allowed to eat for breakfast.

I don't cast my vote.. never in politics, not even @ the election of our class representavice or team captain, when I was still a student, so I'm pretty much neutral...

However I feel weird for legalizing this, because who is the one suppose to be the husband and the wife? what if they want to switch role... and then about going into other countries when they have to fill in legal documents there, it would be troublesome because it is not world wide accepted, so if people want to have a gay relationship just live together as long as you want, I mean what's so important with a legal marriage nowadays anyway.

but then I can't see from a gay men perspective so... it is my own point of view from a practical side.
