 586's characters and patches for their stuff are all hosted on MediaFire, so, I'd definitely would like to see them preserved. HAL also has stuff posted on this site as well.

Probably because the authors haven't logged into their accounts in years. I have 2 Mediafire accounts, while I can't access the oldest one because the site does not send the recovery e-mail, I was still able to save it by clicking on the warning e-mail they sent me, plus my current account has no problems. Apparently they are only deleting inactive accounts.

From what i’ve heard, the policy goes into effect until January,
& their only shutting down accounts that have been inactive for 8 months.
And they’ve also said that they will give the owners of accounts several warnings via Email & stuff.
So from what i can tell, we’ve got plenty of time.

Thanks Meldo for backing up my stuff, I wasn't aware of the mediafire thing, though I still log there every now and then.
I could suggest backing up not only characters but stages and screenpacks too. If you want to do it with my stages and screenpacks, feel free, if not it's ok too, up to you.

I do not know how to share the entire folders in just one link so that anyone can help to backup all these files as I have no time for Mugen anymore and also there is something wrong with my internet connection as well, so I can't download one large file like this  :S

XCB's creations can still be downloaded via the Wayback Machine. NeoKamek on the other hand has some stuff that are hosted on MediaFire so I'll archive his stuff later.

Yup, but there are missing sprites like Samurai Shodown 4, 5, 5 Special and so on. IIRC, there were also some missing characters sprites there and the one in mediafire are the latest

Kong's sprite rips archived. a few character rips are missing (like KOF97 Blue Mary) because a "blocked for a violation of our Terms of Service" message pops up after I tried to download them.
Thanks, those missing sprites could be downloaded from infinity mugen (hopefully the sprites pack doesn't have any missing sprite in it because I knew some of them has missing sprites compared to those that were in his mediafire account) except for Groove on Fight

just letting everyone know that a few authors' works are already up on the mega.nz folder that have yet to be listed on this thread. the amount of work I put into listing these creations was admittedly tiring to the point it gave me a bad case of cold feet, plus my MEGA storage has about 3GB of free space remaining, but rest assured I will update the thread with more lists of creations as soon as I can. thank you all for your patience.

I want to bring up stuff by Antagonist (https://mugenguild.com/forum/profile/antagonist-80985) for archiving purposes, which includes characters, stages and lifebars. A very underrated author.

EDIT: Sorry, I don't know how to solve this thing, I guess it's not possible to get these files... and for the upload time on MF, probably the password is in his Patreon posts (you know, "pay2download")
