Hello all! It's been a while since I made a fully original (for the most part) new stage, and this one was a bit of a pain due to my own mistakes. So, Moon Beach from Streets of Rage 2, I haven't seen anyone try to make thisSo I decided to give it a shot myself!Sprites ripped by.. nobody, I screenshotted the level, with Layers disabled, allowing for easier, cleaner ripping. All Layers were screenshotted individually, then compiled in MUGEN itself.the Water is fully animated, as well as the Beach waves.the Water is also split into different layers, these layers have gradually lower delta values, so the water scrolls much like how it did in the actual game.the Music is the Wave 131 theme, wav dumped from the game, and then converted to .OGG with the help of Audacity.Properly loops, having a bgmloopstart trigger. https://www.mediafire.com/file/9z5cdu3ieeu5av1/MoonBeach.zip/file
The use of deltas in the sea is very well applied. So I guess the effort was worth it, because the result is very nice.Although I expected to see the moon in some corner of the sky...! Cool job, buddy.

Cool job, buddy.I guess the name does sound misleading, if there's no moon, but they never gave it a Moon in the Game for some odd reason...Thank you very much, I Appreciate it!EgyLynx said, December 12, 2022, 05:18:15 pmMatreroG said, December 12, 2022, 12:26:58 pmThe use of deltas in the sea is very well applied. I was worried I messed something up, but it seems I was wrong.
Really nice recreation. Good job.SoR is one of my fav. There is what looks like a mistake on the right side of the stage. In the source game there is such a "blue square" too at that place, but the source game has no high jump, so the gradient blue from the sky just looked right with the blue square from the palms.

Right.. It's been fixed, please redownload.I guess I got a little too excited, because this was my first stage release in months. Thank you for your feedback!
