Best way to record videos of mugen

 :) Hey MFG,

I think this is in the right room??? Anyways, I'd like to ask if anyone can give me some tips or point me in the right direction to make a video of my mugen. More specifically I would like to get a vid up of my current wip (HKP) and so far all my attempts haven't worked.

The videos are all laggy. :( I'm not sure if I have the recording settings correct or what. I've tried several times with the same result. Currenty I am using a programe called Debut Video Capture. Anyone heard of it? Is it a good one to use?

I just think it would be easyer for me to show progress in vid form from now on as my wip is moving along nicely and nearly all the basics are done. It's why the thread hasn't been updated in a few weeks.  :P

Also, does this mean I have to sign up for Youtube? --; hmmmph.

AFAIK Debut cannot record mugen. It doesn't seem to work.

There are a few good recording softwares. I recommend:

Fraps
Bandicam
ZD Soft

Also, the softwares lag depending on your computers hardware. You should post you specs to see if it can handle the softwares. the recorders lag on my lappy here

I use Hypercam 2.
If you don't want to lag you can :
-reduce the game resolution (I always record in 640*480, but otherwise play at 960*720)
-reduce the recording framerate
-get a better computer if it's too old.

Try using Camtasia Studio 7 that's what I use to record my videos.
