I decide to do some edits on characters for being closer to the called POTS Style.
Don't expect huge changes on them, it's not a big deal at all, doing this just for fix issues and for some aesthetic changes.
This is just for fun but i hope you guys enjoy it and any help is very welcome. :)

here's a fix for that pal issue on morrigan

[State 5900, Pal] ;Change palette
type = RemapPal
trigger1 = 1
source = 1,1
dest = 1,palno

[State 5900, End]
type = ChangeState
trigger1 = 1
value = 0

overwrite the current remappal state 5900 stuff to this

then add the pals to the sff like normal and it should work just fine

these are some decent edits.
tested a couple of times but i can't do r.mika's rainbow bomb. if i tried doing 720 super it does her heavenly dynamite instead. tried both counter clockwise and clockwise just to make sure i'm not pressing the wrong buttons.

Since the update for Nakoruru is small, that means she doesn't have the major aesthetics of a modern PotS edit as I noticed on the video. Also, the guard sparks are way too small and the hitsparks don't feel right. Do you have any plans for another update to add the rest of it? Because HyperClawManiac didn't finish it completely and I kinda want to since Nakoruru is also a favorite character of mine. I was going to update her first, but I haven't got around doing it yet. Hope you don't mind I help you for a bit.

I remember HyperClaw made the sparks very small, looking at the video it seems that is now corrected, but in case it's not... :P ;
Landing dust still uses the old CvS2 sprites, probably some other effects need an update too, but I'm not sure;
Update the font for the Hyper Finishing moves;
This one is optional, but maybe lower Mamahaha's sound volume when it is flying, I saw some people complaining about it getting annoying after some time.

That's it for now. I'll post more if I find something else.

Here's my feedback on Charlotte:

-The landing effect after a normal jump and back dash is not the one used in modern PotS characters (Power Gradation uses the correct landing effect).
-The dust of Lion Lancer doesn't disappear until a second later if it misses.
-Running animation is missing a sound for the other step.
-Violette Lunge is unblockable.

That's all for now, mostly a change in aesthetics are needed.

See.. The thing is.. I’ve never released or uploaded any of these, some randoms from MA. I’ve also seen people slap my name on things when I never did. I get you need content for your channel, but please, take me out of the credits/video tags etc, all I ask.

Don’t even care if you take the credit as your fan base seems to think you make them anyway. Warusaki3 etc, edited by you. When I release something I want to be the one to do it as you are just reposting old edits from MA calling it an update and posting it here. Hopefully this isn’t an inconvenience.

Feedback on Sonson:

-Custom Combo effect in the air is misaligned.
-Her landing effect when she touches the ground is the old one.
-EX spark on all moves is misaligned.
-Jumping MK passes though the opponent.
-Standing HK doesn't have a landing effect when she touches the ground.
-Seiten Rengeki, Tenchi-Tsuken, Kingin no Hisago and POW has default hitsparks when blocked.
-Kingin no Hisago has a loop of special guard sparks when blocked.

Akito's right. This character is not completed. Instead of releasing more, you should be fixing the already released ones first. Did you even fix anything?

No problem. I do apologize if my feedback sounded harsh though. Just a lot of the characters you released feels inconsistent. Knowing that they are edits of already existing characters, that's probably why a lot of the aesthetics are different and not the same.

Hibiki has the least amount of issues as the original version was good, but still has some. Here's feedback for her too because I forgot:
-A minor asthethic, but the basic attacks where she draws her sword should be the same ones used by Nakoruru instead of normal swing sounds.
-EX Chikayori te Kiru Nari doesn't have a swing sound nor there is a sound where the opponent hits the wall.
-Jumping WP should be a weak slash sound.
-Throw 1 has no envshake like the basic hits.
-Not sure if it's intentional, but the 2nd hit of EX Touma ni te Kiru Nari doesn't connect with the 1st if it hits.
Actually, disregard this one. I was doing the move on Training and it wasn't working on him for some reason. It works fine on other characters.

Even if you don't get around fixing them, I might as well post it anyway so maybe me or someone else will. I don't want to make PotS character due to how complex they are for me, but I could fix existing ones that need them. When it comes to detail and aesthetics, I might be able to after getting used to testing characters with Fighter Factory. I'll see what I can do when I get around it.

He lacks a Normal Intro and I remember another one of Rei/2Dee's Hugos having a different small portrait.
His jumping could also do with some changes aswell as there's a long freeze before he moves.
EDIT: You should probably stop with the prepatched Add004 stuff becuase Shiyo could update the lifebar at any moment and the compatibility could be messed up, you just never know.
Also, you should put slam/land FX for moves like the Megaton Press and throws.

The FX on Megaton Press and throws, i'll check this.

I'm planning to update my edits with the most recent version of add004 soon as possible.
It's because i'm still using an older version.

I have tried to get down to this Recovery problem, I've copied Recovery code from another PotS character and nothing changed.
Maybe it's best to disable it for now because it can be a problem when you're a sucker for AI stuff and he does it.

Hey quick question Gui did you only test these on Ikemen or mugen? I made sure I downloaded a fresh copy of Mugen 1.1 and the latest add004 patch to make a new test build, and I keep running into the "needs update" despite them already being prepatched, and the other issue I'm having is that if I do repatch them it seems to break Charlotte/Sonson. Sonson (just using her as you released her) does a crazy amount of damage with her Seiten Rengeki move and I'm not sure why, it seems to only happen in tag battles, but not in normal 1v1 matches, you can see the damage differences in the images below. Not sure if this has just been an issue I've come across as I hadn't seen anyone else post about this.

I don't see a point. Each time add004 system is updated your chars becomes incompatible with it. Based on what I see in other authors characters that release them pre-patched (not sure if the same is true for your edits), very often .a4bk backup files are not up to date with files already patched with add004, so automatically removing add004 code in such cases is not an option.

In other words you want to add something that has little to no benefit at all. add004 comes with dedicated patcher and everyone who use this system already know how to patch characters.

It's because if many of them, not all the edits, doesn't have the add004 stuff, they became all buggy and messed up when you use the patch. In normal MUGEN they still work fine.

You need to eliminate incompatibility with the tag system anyway, if you want such problematic character to work with add004. So why not fix the conflict and leave the character unpatched?

ah well thanks for explaining that, it is unfortunate, but they at least seem to work fine in the unotag system from what I can tell, although Sonson still had that crazy damage glitch on the same move, I just ended up disabling it entirely since I still wanted to use the character, I'll just be cautious of which characters I put in each build, keep up the good work though man.

I intentionally did it that way to so I could have my own unique content, but as we see it failed. Some of them hmm, none of the sounds/sparks etc are missing, I added everything to the system. All of these edits are mostly my project resources that were uploaded by anynomous's and being treated as new.. I don't mind helping you, if you are open to learning, make some quality stuff.

Yes i fixed the recovery. The problem with it was the last frame in both recovery animations was set to -1. that's what caused him to freeze up.

Here's some feedback on ReddBrink's edit of Hugo:

-There's still some leftover sound effects from GM's version (Can be heard on certain moves such as the Giant Palm Bomber, Megaton Press and the Gigas Breaker).
-The Giant Palm Bomber plays the stomp sound twice during the EX version.
-The grab animations for Moonsault Press and Meat Squasher when they miss have no swing sound.
-The last hit of Hammer Frenzy has no envshake like the Giant Palm Bomber and can be hit if the opponent stops blocking too early.
-The Meat Squasher still uses the SF3 running sounds instead of the CvS2 ones and doesn't have the wall slam effect.
-The Megaton Press doesn't have the slam effect like the throw and the Moonsault Press.
-His charge animation has no swing sound when Hugo thrusts his arms like the intro.
-The landing effect is still the wrong one.
-Counter word is missing.

Overall, this edit is great and a definite keeper. Really like the added envshake and the heavy landing sound effect like Victorys's Juggernaut had for the landing which the original edit was lacking and feels like the character is heavy. This feedback is so anyone can get an idea what else to fix. If not, maybe I can try and do it.

Edit: I did some more testing and I noticed the taunt looks unfinished. Since RagingRowen mentioned another edit of Hugo with a different lifebar portrait and a much polished taunt, maybe I would like to incorporate some of those things into this Hugo (Unless he wants to do it instead).

Found a bug, Geese does not perform the intro with Froz's Vega like he's supposed to be. Even though it says you fixed it, he doesn't do it with him.

Edit: Checked the system.st and indeed he does not. The trigger is missing Froz's name:

thanks for providing separate version without add004 stuff, but after comparing both archives it looks like your edit has the same issue that is usually present in characters with pre-patched add004 stuff, that I've mentioned in my previous post - your "a4bk" backup files as well as files in the "Regular MUGEN" package are outdated. "Regular MUGEN" version doesn't have fixes for intros that you have mentioned (all ST, CNS, AIR, CMD files are exactly the same as they are in PotS version from 2010).

btw. I don't think A.I. has been revamped in either version (from what I see the only change outside SFF and SND files is intro data vs Mai and Froz' Vega)

Another heads up, but the trigger is incorrect. You forgot to put parentheses to make the intro character specific. Because of this, Geese is now performing the Vega intro to any character made by Froz including his Gill, Wolverine, and Urien.

Correct (Geese will perform the intro to any character with Vega as their name except to only those by these two authors):

Maybe it's me, but his sprites feel a little big
- Warusaki3's had a close HK, did this spritesheet not have it?
- EX Captain Collider gives back meter
- Why can't I cancel far HP into any special move during Custom Combo?
- Why do both lvl.3s do so much damage? I feel a lvl.3, POTS style, should be no higher than from the high 300s to just past 400.
- He needs better damage dampening/scaling.  It either doesn't do enough or none at all
- He needs better juggle restrictions.  Certain combos, I feel, I shouldn't get away with.  He can juggle after all his supers, except Captain Fire.

Combo Examples
Jump HK, Stand HK, HP Captain Collider, Captain Strike, Captain Corridor, HP Captain Uppercut = 729
Jump HK, Stand HK, HP Captain Collider, Captain Storm, HP Captain Uppercut = 792

Can't say I understand what you mean by "shamming your audience" in this context (and I had trouble understanding your previous similar post in this topic). Please clarify:
1. You don't want other people to use your old edits for further editing?
or
2. You just don't want your name to show up in the DEF and readme? (e.g. it should be changed to "anonymous" or whatever)

I’m asking since I’m looking forward for more of such releases (especially if gui0007 will continue removing custom UNO/ikemen/add004 related code from those characters)

I think it was ok just put "2D4". And i'm still don't understand why you don't want you to be mentioned since you did the first edits on some of them and you did well. I just did this to respect i have for the MUGEN authors and editors.

And it's Major Update since CapCom already had A LOT of issues when i retired the add004 stuff. It was a pain fixing and updating all around.

It was a simple request. I never got to release my own stuff, that’s all. Not in this way I don’t. That’s the point of making a full game to have something unique. This loophole through MA. I apologize, I do admit I hate channels like these that rely on someone else’s work to thrive. Why change it from shin rei to 2D if that were not the purpose? You don’t have to update the name for me?

If real updates were actually being done... Removing add004 = Major update. Very minimal changes just to “release” something that may not have been ready to be yet, you don’t actually fix anything, yet imply “updates all around” “tiring”? That’s just phony. You download a character from MA, remove the system code, I just released a new character. I suppose now, that you have like a handful of creators, I should understand the desperation, but damn you aren’t even willing to fix what’s really wrong, you do it for views, not the people, if you did you would actually try to fix the errors. These problems listed are the same as they were years ago.

I'm not only removed the add004 stuff, which i will try to do with Hibiki next and with all my old edits that i add the add004 stuff before. All this stuff, specially Hugo and Sonson, had A LOT of issues. Doesn't matter if they're old versions, i doing this just for fun. I said this in the main post already.

I ain't get able to fix EVERYTHING, that's true. I said in the main post too.
Don't expect huge changes on them, it's not a big deal at all.

But most of the problems, specially on the sprites and few coding stuff i get it. That's why i always asking for help. I'm into MUGEN for seven years but i'm still learning.

No worries, it is. Well, for me it works well in add004 even after i retired the old add004 stuff.

I think 2Dee4ever simply doesn't want his name on the DEFs. Or any credit whatsoever.

Already did that with CapCom and Ruby Heart, i'll do that with Hibiki and Charlotte.
The other characters doesn't have anything with 2D4.

You are probably using a older version. He is cloning and glitching like crazy on the new version.

On the latest version of addpie all I did was click change and it said "Already Changed Ready Restore" and then I launch and see 2 Hugos pop up like this and one of them changed palletes too:

EDIT2: Found and removed some old code not used in most/all of the POTS/Infinite characters so i think i got rid of the last of the old shinrei code. Test him and let me know.

Alright i just tested the latest add004 on hugo and it was exactly what i suspected. This line is not getting added in the Animations. And that is why hugo is cloning.

Open up fighter factory and go to animations and set it to text mode. then scroll all the way down and paste this code at the bottom. That should fix the cloning issue.

Looks like ReddBrink got the time to update Hugo after all. Here's feedback on this update:
-The back dash is still the old landing effect.
-Giant Palm Bomber (Not the EX one) and the last hit of Hammer Frenzy still has SF3 ground sound effect.
-Shootdown Backbreaker doesn't have a landing effect when Hugo touches the ground from a successful grab.
-The last slam of Gigas Breaker still uses the SF3 slam sound effect and not the CvS2 one.
-Palette selector has a lot of default palettes (Not an big issue if turned off).
-Moonsault Press and Shootdown Backbreaker still has no swing sound on the grab animation when it misses.
-There's no jump sound when Hugo leaps during Megaton Press.
-For the running animation as I forgot this one, but why not add the same heavy sound and envshake used on Meat Squasher to add more weight to the character (Feels inconsistent when the Meat Squasher has it but the normal running animation does not)?
-Lifebar portrait still remains unchanged and doesn't use the one made by HadeS:

anyone knows how to fix the guard crush problem?,  when i use for ex. the edited/pre patched charlotte, sonson to the newest add004, the guard crush is very low and it breaks easily from high combination attacks, what value should i edit from the characters file to make it identical to other pots styled characters ?

I left this intentionally cause it fits the super.

Strange that shinrei's edits are the only ones that add004 patcher can't patch automatically, even after removing old code. Not sure if we should report it to Shiyo Kakuge or it's a problem with characters (wrong syntax? leftover code in AIR file?). Worth investigating further, imo.

edit: maybe this line presence (found in Hugo.air) causes add004 patcher to skip patching AIR file?

CapCom, Ruby Heart, Hibiki and Charlotte are fixed now bro, without that stupid add004 line in the .air archive. :)
About R. Mika and Lucy i just remove the add004 stuff and it works fine since it's patched by me from the start.
I did the same with Morrigan and Lilith that are in the "Darkstalkers in POTS Style" thread.

I hope you and everyone fellas can also check the updated version of Nakoruru. DeathScythe really gave a great help for me in this one. :)

I fixed Sonson aswell, retiring the old add004 stuff and checked if there something from the old version. Check if it works well now.

There are some grab glitches I'm experiencing from watching the A.I with some of your characters. I don't know if it's tag but it happened with Charlotte, Ruby Heart, and Sonson. Example:

So after I just tested Hugo's update, it turns out I accidentally missed a few more things:

-Gigas Breaker has no swing sound when it misses and has no landing effects during each time Hugo touches the ground on a successful hit.
-Giant Palm Bomber has no swing sound (The last hit of Hammer Frenzy does have one and I actually noticed this one on this update).
-It's possible for the opponent to accidentally stop blocking Hammer Frenzy after the first two hits (Same with this one).

Hopefully that's all of it. Thought one last update should do it, other small little details caught me off guard as it was very late at night when I posted that feedback. My bad. To make up these missed details, here's a portrait I made for him. I originally planned this portrait when I edit him, but haven't gotten around it:

Trololo did an edit of POTS Guy but sadly a lot of things was missing and fixes are necessary.
So here's my re-edit+update of Guy!

The most challenging edit i did so far because now Guy have A LOT of new stuff and important fixes.

Feedback on Guy's update:
-Guy's taunt has a CvS2 hitspark and guard spark when hit and blocked up close.
-Bushin Izuna Otoshi still has a CvS2 strong ground shockwave and sound effect when the opponent is slammed on the ground.
-The dust effect has no sound when performing the running animation.
-The custom combo effect animation is misaligned while on the ground.

I don't know why the CvS2 effects still exist in the SFF if the character is converted to PotS style. They make the file larger and should be deleted since they shouldn't be used. Please remove them.

-Bushin Izuna Otoshi still has a CvS2 strong ground shockwave and sound effect when the opponent is slammed on the ground.
-The dust effect has no sound when performing the running animation.
-The custom combo effect animation is misaligned while on the ground.

I don't know why the CvS2 effects still exist in the SFF if the character is converted to PotS style. They make the file larger and should be deleted since they shouldn't be used. Please remove them.

If I can recall there was a small portrait for him which is similar but has more of his face, and not the CVS Warusaki one.

Finally, one of his winposes is just an endless silence with no music and his arms crossed, there's likely a missing voice sample.

I fixed a little bit before the release but still this little off-centered.

About the winpose it's because originally it had the Final Fight Slums theme playing during the pose and i remove it. I try to figure out how to fix this in his System.st but i can't. Maybe i can put the theme back?

Small update on Guy.

- Added the new Portraits (Big port by RagingRowen and Small port by NDSilva)
- Remove the old CvS2 stuff (i think that are still few of these)
- Guy's taunt won't hit the enemy anymore
- Fixed the Bushin Izuna Otoshi's ground FX and sound
- Added sound in the dust effect before the run

To do.
- Still need to add the Bushin Musou Renge Finish Text
- Still check the custom combo issue

Will be great to insert the Bushin Goraisenpujin on but yeah, will be challenging because it's too damn complex for me. :mwhy:

About this other version of Guy, i take a look on him.
I did almost every fixes i did on my edit.

But just as i expected, after i erase manually the add004 stuff the aesthetics (Normal and special FXs, hitsparks) get messed up except the Super FXs, the Power Charge aura and the Level 3 Portrait.
KOF_HERO_77 helped me with the add004 things in my edit.
Also Bushin Musou Renge apparently doesn't kill the P2 (tested against Redd's Haggar). :P

The good thing is that the winpose won't take so long after winning the match in this version but sadly i have no idea how this work on. :(

Hopefully, that's all of it.

Also, Nakoruru's hit sparks and guard sparks needs some adjustments. The hit sparks feels light and don't animate exactly like the new PotS characters. The guard sparks are small and I also feel like they are facing the wrong direction. But for some reason even though they aren't accurate, I kinda like the slash sparks the way they are so I don't think they should be changed. All of the sparks issues was originally like that on the original edit, but I hope either one of you two can fix that.

Just downloaded the character just now as I completely forgot you uploaded the fix already. After testing again, I realized the old landing effect on one of the intros is still there and the custom combo effect position is still misaligned. I checked and it seems that there's a Explod missing in the "Lose by Time Over" animation (The animation is there, but not the code itself). ReddBrink doesn't plan to update him anymore, so I will do it in his behalf. I've also adjusted the size of the landing effect so it's surrounds Hugo better and the run of the Hammer Frenzy was using the wrong step sound, so I fixed that too. Please replace the respective files with these ones, I will also ask gui to update the link with them:

Well, the Palette Selector is in few characters because the coding is from previous edits. In Hibiki's case is thanks to Sennou-Room's update on her.
Still need to learn and handle how to add the Palette Selector properly, maybe in future updates. :v

After trying Alpha Chun Li.

I can say the result is pretty cool.
2 things to point

-She don't seem to have her ir medium stomp kick.
-her dodge anim is strange. (anim700) I think, putting her arms down and fix the face would be enough for fixing it.

Yeah that because those past edits (mosty 2Dee4ever/Shinrei's edits) were just copying code from the original characters on Infinite's Krauser which also had the Palette Selector.

Hey, I'm not sure if you know how to fix this but since you've got some experience with edits, I don't think this was ever fixed but Infinite's Kuando has a problem where for some problem, specifically in Ikemen his sound doesn't work whatsoever, no voices, hit sounds or anything. He seemed to work fine in mugen 1.1, but I wasn't sure if perhaps this was something you could fix if you knew how, considering your experience with these things. Apologies if this isn't something you know how to fix but I figured I'd check

Not planned but my fella El Parasito de la Web did some tweaks and new pals for him, so i did some other necessary fixes too. :v
Also thanks to RagingRowen for the tip about the Wall Impact sound.

Does this SFA style Chun Li use Dampir's up to date CS SFF and colors?

After doing a few minutes of testing, I realized the patch I posted a year ago was not applied before this update happened. Unfortunately, I deleted the files already so those bugs are still there. And I also found a bug not present in the original and a minor one I missed. Here's feedback that needs to be fixed:

The Custom Combo doesn't work because the command wasn't activated for some reason. :v

Funny thing is that it doesn't occur everytime. Sometimes it looks perfectly good at the begining of the match, but when you hit F4 to restart the round Poison turns cyan.

I have a problem with Sonson, when she apply her bottle whirlwind to adsorb the rival inside, suddenly appear a  lot of Sonson in the screen, and then go away when the move is finished.  :S

STATUS
- RAYNE RELEASED!

Just tested Rayne out:

- QCF+2P does not hit the opponent at all.
- Some of the red hitboxes are way too big, like on jumping HK & on Gun Trigger.
- Why does the teleport cost 200 when all the other EX moves cost 500?
- The blue CLSN changes during her idle animation taunt.
- Grenade Storm does way too much chip damage for a level 1, even if you can dodge it while crouching.
- Widowmaker's landing animation causes an invalid action state to appear in debug mode.
- The super portraits look really saturated & not great, namely the level 2 ones.

Couple this with my usual issues with POTS/DW/Infinite/whatever style characters, such as
EX moves costing too less meter,
Power Charging making it too easy to gain meter
or access Max Mode & Guard Canceling,

the obnoxiously flashy & ugly looking FX,
such as the hitsparks, etc, & i honestly can't say i'm a fan of this.

I think Rayne needs a significant overhaul in terms of coding,
replacing the (in my opinion) flawed & counter intuitive POTS/CVS style
or reworking it into something that better compliments Rayne's moveset & source material better,
rather than just trying to cram her into a POTS template that i feel is
bloated with a ton of overpowered/poorly adapted mechanics that
she (& most other characters, for that matter) were not designed with in mind.

EDIT: A correction: power charging doesn't actually make it that easy to get enough meter for Max Mode/Guard Cancel,
since it takes 189 frames in order to reach a bar of meter with power charging.

- EX Gun Trigger (Trigger Barrage) fixed and now hits the opponent properly
- Gun Trigger fixed. Not spammable anymore
- Grenade Storm's damage scale fixed
- Vampire Drill and Gun Trigger's guard pushback fixed

Me and the dude that did the edit still needs to take a look at some stuff tho.
- Vampire Rampage still giving back power, but not that much as before
- Add an EX version of Vampire Drill
- Change/fix the Super Portraits

Yep, back with the POTS Style edits with Akuma (Gouki) but not in his CVS look, but from Street Fighter 3!

fAyt did a version of Akuma with his SF3 appearance, with the gameplay highly based on POTS version of Shin Akuma. Also there are other versions of fAyt's Akuma, but with different gameplay.

Since Jmorph did an excellent Ken based on SF3 i decided to give this one a try, specially because fAyt's Akuma wasn't played in POTS Style properly and had some serious issues, specially in his Zero Counter and many misaligned effects.

And after five months of fixes, changes and updates i share with you this first version of this edit. Probably new updates will come since some few stuff still missing.

CHANGELOG
- Sounds and many of the FXs now are with modern POTS Style stuff
- Sounds of Supers Level 1 and 3 FXs now are the correct ones
- New Level 3 Portrait (thanks DeathScythe!)
- Many of moves commands revamped
- Fixed a serious issue in his Zero Counter
- Some misaligned FX and sprites fixed

- Scale fixed to match CvS standards
Here's a comparison with Jmorph's SF3 Ken.

Man, I was always hoping for a decent Pots-ish Sf3 Akuma. Nice work. Will be awesome with all the cosmetic updates complete. Only complaint is that the added cvs sprites clash with the sf3 ones. It doesn't look great when it transitions into the sf3 sprites after he jumps in from above during his intro and while running as they change size and look kinda messy.

Surprise Release! :v

Few months ago Nexus Gaming released a previous version of Liu Kang in this style but with the sprites by Fabry Taz which for me doesn't fit well for a POTS Style character.
But now Gouki Machine attempted to change Liu Kang sprites for the ones  made by Chuchoryu which are way better. Despite i'm still working on other characters i've decided to help Gouki Machine on this and here's the result.

I dont think this uses any extras stuff from odb's either but gotta check,shame,proper strong aerial punches could have been nice

Hey Tay. If this was a response to my comment, I didn't see any visible graphical addition to Gui's edit and so I believe that the CS would work in this case as well. The separation adds some funk to SubZ that wasn't prevalent before.

good job on the liu kang edit

i did not use chuchoryu sprites of liu kang because they were missing animation frames for attacks and lack of sprites for certain things but you got them to work
kind of how i found a way for akira to work lol

I noticed that about his sprites too.. like he has decent sprites of Shao Kahn, Goro, Jax, Shang Tsung, etc, even Jason, Freddy Krueger and Ghostface but it seems like a lot of coders pass on them. This being Halloween month and all these characters being popular I’m happy to see that Liu Kang. I know LESSARD made his Baraka a reality before

Again, I'm not the biggest fan of MK and particularly mixed up with POTS style, but still it's great to see it.

And I'm glad you're somewhat back to characters edit.

I think Sub-Zero cannot release his projectile sometimes (I was using MUGEN 1.1)

The only evident bug I noticed was in his fall down animation. Palettes work well though.
