Torso looks nice (albeit highly stylized). The legs need a lot of work, tho. They lack a lot of the same definition the top part has (I’m guessing that’s the part you edited?). I would go through an anatomy book and exaggerate everything you see there so that it matches the top a bit better.

Last but not least, it’s not really CVS shading. Looks more like a Samsho sprite or one of those Chinese/Korean fighting games with really good sprites.

I know, I couldn't find a proper Samsho/Garou/Noise Factory/Non-KOF SNK style thread, so I used this one.

Also the leg was hard to edit because PIM Shinjuro had a strange size with TONS of colors.

Weird, I replayed again with other characters and now works fine.

Must be an issue involving the characters Riesz (Maybe due to her being a High-Resolution char) and Puyo Puyo-n Archan

But still, it's good to have a failsafe check before anything goes.

Here's a thing I would like to contribute: Maybe extend the options so you can put any victory jingle depending on the character? Of course, customizable for any character.

For example: if using Lucario, play a file like 'sound/victory/LucarioVictory.mp3' by just adding the char name and the path of the file.

Edit: Oh, now that it seems fixed, on High-Res Chars like Riesz the camera zooms too deep to the point you don't see them completely.

Also Victory Music feedback: The victory music plays twice and then there's silence until the victory music plays again when a winpose happens again, the silence doesn't happen if the stage has round x music. Would be better if there was an option to play victory jingles ONLY when a character wins twice.

Could you be a bit more specific as to under which circumstances it's not working?

I tested the files from the github repository on a fresh install and both camera settings were working.

@Nintendo DS:

I already implemented unskipabble intro and winpose settings. You can try them by downloading the main repository, I want to try a couple more things before the next "formal" release.

I configured it to 1, so the camera supposedly has to work to focus on the winner, but I saw it focusing on the loser instead.

I've just tested recently and even if I set the camera to the winner, the camera seems to focus on the loser :/

Donkey Kong Country 2 - Barrel Bayou Update (Now with Round Variants!)

Greetings, everyone!

An important update for my stage from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest has been made.
Now thanks to Ikemen, it is now possible to add round variants! (Through you can still add the variants in your MUGEN if your wish, hence why this topic on the 1.0+ releases.)

Enjoy the quick edits into the palettes for Krockhead Klamber and Mudhole Marsh! Make a nice sunset and night visual on the stage!

put quotes around the name of the move giving issues. if you look in the first post. chargedmg needs to be in quotes and isnt, which is why it crashes. simple fix is to go to the line of error and put quotes around it.

sticking with the chargedmg example it just simple needs to be changed to "chargedmg" with the quotation marks

Umh, you see, it isn't something that you easily fix in 'quotes'

Not sure if this counts, but lemme contribute:

Rest in Peace! - 11114

The opponent is turned into a ghost and ascends to heaven, while the opponent simply reuses a hit frame with a ghostly palette, this can be taken advantage of by other characters using unique sprites for Rest in Peace!

Example: Yu & Rei by Enterku

Ravange's Mummification - 11360, 11361, 11362, 113603


The opponent is sealed into a sarcophagus with a face of itself on it.

Example: Ravange (No specific author, but compatibility should be implemented)

Does somebody have them?

Long story short: I got a copyright claim for them due to the songs inside the zips in Mediafire, and had to delete them and reupload them to 4shared, years later 4shared took them down, and the only site that still has them is the... *gulp* MUGEN Archive.

So if somebody happens to have these stages, would be appreciated, I need to re-upload them outside of that damned site (avoiding the song filename if possible).
