Good job Zaitsu. I love the detail. The mock up makes me wish he was playable in SFIII

Zo Warudo, Likiji, Speedster: Glad y'all love it, hope that Scrooge and Jimbo come out just as good.

Bastard Mami: Thanks, I used CPS3 Demitri by ink, Ibuki, Ryu, and Leo as references for various things like outfit (Ryu, Ibuki), boots (Demitri), katana (Leo's sword shading was useful), but this entire sprite was made from paper, and was carried out in secret with Speedster's feedback and advice. Completely made from scratch, which is one of the reasons why I'm fond of this (that and the character design is amazing).

walruslui: Many thanks for giving me that feedback, I tried to fix it just now, and updated the post with the sprites. Hopefully it's been done right this time. And yes I felt that I needed to expand my boundaries beyond Johnny Cage and Jago (though those weren't bad either). Hopefully the next sprites will be as good as this one. :)



So I'm gonna go ahead and say that I've put down a sketch for Scrooge that I will use (albeit in need of small fixes, regarding head proportions), so hopefully I'll do the line art and send Steven a sample image so I can get critiqued on it.

Up next is Jimbo for Matthew, this one will be entirely made with ink's new CPS3 method as an experiment. I actually used it for Scrooge's hands as a test, and it works nicely. Let's try it for an entire sprite. :)

looks nice, butt the coat is pillow shaded and lacks depth, look at q's coat for reference.

also his legs have the wrong lightsources, they're coming from the back and front, the legs shouldn't have light at all.

@walruslui: You budster, I updated my previous post, tell me what you think.  I tried to actually make the top look like Q, but I don't  it'll get any Q-ier than this.

I actually did use Q as a ref, looks like I oughts to git gud with refs, hyuck hyuck hyuck.

Quick question regarding some of my old sprites]Since I stated that I was going to revamp all of my old works after Jimbo, I wanted to ask what's a good pose for Z2 Broly? I don't want to use anything in the games he appeared in, I want to do something original. The same goes for Beerus, so any ideas are great as to what would work for an original pose that displays the character's prominence/power
I've had an idea for a unique beerus stance for a while now and it would what kinda looks like this

I'm kinda stumped as to how to make this any better. I know there are mistakes, but I can't figure anything out. Any suggestions/advice on how to make the line art perfect?

I think the biggest problem is his left leg (our right), it's a bit too long and doesn't fit the rest of the body. Also i'd rotate his right foot a bit to the left to match the direction where the knee is pointing and shorten his face. I did a quick edit just by moving stuff Do you think any of this fixes might work?
