Title: I Need Help with Stages!
Post by: Sean Altly on January 31, 2021, 02:59:40 am: So I haven't thought much about stages yet, as I'm focusing all of my efforts right now on sprites. However, I am looking forward to being able to include more diverse stages in this game since I've spent all three SHADEs games being boxed into stages that are in NYC.

Since this game is being made for Mugen 1.1 (Mordecool only does screenpacks for Ikemen and 1.1), I was wondering if any seasoned stage creators/editors would like to help me with this games stages since I haven't really taken the time to learn how to make stages for 1.1? I have a general idea of the theme of the stages, and I only need 10 total (plus a training stage if possible).

I do not need completely original stages. This is a Mugen game after all. I am fine with nice looking edits of location-specific stages from other games as long as the art style is consistent.

I also had the idea that each stage's floor/main standing area would be a ring or platform, since the whole thing is supposed to be an actual televised tournament. I also wouldn't be averse to just using some stages you've already made. Do you have a site with all your stuff on it that I could browse or are they just in the release topics here? The stage I used for SHADEs 3 I found looking through stage collections on other sites. Also, the screenpack is all on Mugen 1.1 so the stages will have to be compatible with that (they don't need zoom or anything but if one has it they all need to have it).
