These threads are very old, from years ago when photobucket wasn't a trash.

Content for 1.0 should be ok in 1.1. Characters might have one or another minor issue, but is unlikely. And yeah, many creators release content for both 1.0 and 1.1.
Good stages with zoom are Shiyo Kakuge's 2014 stages, stages converted to zoom by YugaCurry and Spectra, Ultimate stages by ELECTR0, some stages by Vegaz_Parrelli, and so on. Should not be hard to find it both here and on google.

Edit: I took the time to get the links for you:

I guess it is the same thing and is more of preference. Example would be a dodge that you want to be invulnerable to everything except throws, in this case I'd use HitBy with value = AT. Now if I'm coding a move where the character is invulnerable to only projectiles, I'll go with NotHitBy with value = AP.

Can't open MEGA

Posted by DeathScythe  in Can't open MEGA (Started by DeathScythe September 22, 2019, 12:54:41 pm

It's been 2 or 3 days that I can't access MEGA (https://mega.nz) in any device connected to my wifi/internet. It keeps loading and I get the "This site can’t be reached. mega.nz took too long to respond. ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT" error. A few days ago I could access it normally, but for some reason it won't load anymore. I have tried using different browsers, using my and my parents phone, using alternate DNS, disabling antivirus and firewall, resetting my modem/wifi, and nothing. Other people I asked said they can access MEGA normally, the problem is with my internet.

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

That's weird. I have the latest Mcafee and get clean results:
[]
A lot of times these file hosting sites (Looking at you Mediafire) have pop-up crap that attaches itself to the files but normally Sendspace is pretty good.
Sorry about the issues your having......
Oh, I've only scanned the files on my computer (haven't downloaded and scanned the files I uploaded to sendspace .... and too scared too now...l'm ultra paranoid of getting viruses myself and scan my pc regularly!!)

It's fine, I know is not your fault. Can you try uploading it on another host? MEGA for example?

Trojan I assume?
Thankfully I haven't extracted it, I only peeked into the .rar.
Also didn't you say you were on Windows XP?

Yes I'm using Windows XP. Why you ask?
Also I got rid of the folder. Will scan with antivirus later.
Oh, and I'm still looking for the screenpack.

Here you go:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/lwygop

Ok, I tried this link yesterday, Chrome said this file was dangerous but I downloaded anyway, opened and everything was there, I even played wit KFM for a few moments. Today when I opened it again, the mugen related files are gone and there are a lot of files with weird symbols and super huge in size, like 80GB (which doesn't make sense since this laptop is super old and has what, 40GB of HD?), and when I open the rar file, winrar say it is corrupted. Oh, and I can't even delete the folder with weird files now, it says "cannot delete file cannot read from source or disk", tried with command prompt but with no success. Any ideas???
Obviously I'm afraid of downloading from the link above again, and the screenpack is gone.

If I could make a suggestion - ability to adjust the amount of life gain for turns mode.

eg. would like to be able to specify 50% life gain for whatever it currently is

hope this makes sense

Not sure what you want to accomplish.

I think he means recovering 50% of the actual life instead of a fixed value. In turns mode, when you win a round, you recover an amount of life (always the same, don't know how much though), I think he wants to recover life based on the current life after you win the round.

Edit: My turn now. Is it possible to add a sorta sliding effect to the portraits? Similar to SF4 and some other games, the portrait slides into the screen and stops in the right position. Would be also cool a fading effect, thought I think this is possible doing in the animation, playing with alpha and setting the time to -1 when the portrait is fully visible.

This Vega is absolutely amazing! Question... why people call him Balrog in the Asian region?

Because that is how he was originally called, since Street Fighter was created in Japan.
When the game was ported to USA, they changed the names to avoid copyright issues with Mike Tyson and Mike Bison (boxer), he became Balrog, Balrog became Vega and Vega became Bison.

@apathy: I understand perfectly. From looking at Capcom sprites I can tell that some proportions are very exagerated (a good example is how they draw hands bigger than normal), among other things. I can clearly see how you changed the hair on my sprite to match the hair on CvS too. I'll try to not just draw over the existing reference image but actually change the style. I'm only afraid that such changes will make it look like another character, if you know what I mean. Thank you for the feedback!

And thanks Sabockee and Neko for your comments as well! ;D

Also correct me if I'm wrong but NotHitBy using value = SCA already makes it immune to everything, right? I mean you don't need to put every single condition there...

Interesting thread. I personally like more Capcom's style, probably because I grew up playing Capcom games. The first ever fighting game I played was Street Fighter 2, and I fell in love with it. At the time I played the console versions, I rarely went to play on arcades. From then, I fell in love with the Street Fighter franchise itself, playing the alpha series, and... Marvel vs Capcom, was one of the games I loved the most because of the style, musics, and so on. On the other side, I didn't know much about SNK games, the one I played most was Fatal Fury 2 I think. And at the time the sprites style wasn't defined yet, FF2 and SF2 were almost the same in terms of sprites. It was later with the Alpha series / Marvel series and the KOF series that the style was stablished I think. To be honest, as a kid I can't remember playing a KOF game. I didn't know much about SNK, until I play Capcom vs SNK (the first one), I saw all of those Fatal Fury characters there and found out about the company, but still, I was a kid at the time and didn't pay much attention to art or anything. It was just after I found out about MUGEN that I knew SNK better, their games, their history, their characters, and so on. But still, I had played too much Capcom games that they were some sort of reference to me, and because of that, I always liked their style more.
