for spriting I'm using MS Paint (Vista) and Photoshop,

for animating I've been using Gif Movie Gear 4.0.2 for many satisfying years :)

Gif movie gear?Is that better than the animation creator we get in FF?

It's great to use since you don't have to convert frames to PCX format and importing them into FF and arranging the frames by groups and number frames.  So yes it's better than FF but thats my own personal opinion.

Yes gif movie gear is fast and easy, converting sprites to pcx each time will be really bothersome.

I was ofc a bit lazy in re-using the actual kick connect part but I think it looks good.
Now in true Tony Jaa fashion he could probably have another version where he does one half spin more,
and throws out a backwards kick ;)

Curious, do you still plan on giving him a custom stance? Or rather, one different than Gokus?

We talk about it all the time but Balthazar is hellbent on being indecisive about which to switch to. The very FIRST thing we talked about was what would be the new stance.

yes he will get a different stance, but only once all his other required sprites are finished.

Amazing Burst Rush you got there!
Is that launcher kick like Vegeta's? And in my opinion you could use a different animation for the punch before the launcher kick to put more strenght to the attack, like this: (look at the pose of the punch,  and yeah, I know they have background)
