I was expecting Simon but I never expected Richter to make it in too. And we got Alucard as an assist trophy on top of that.also hyped for Dark Samus, Chrom, and King K Rool.
I like how he doesn't give two shits about Chrom but loses his mind over the Final Smash Meter. Personally, I'm really happy that both versions of Vulpix show up as Pokeballs. Vulpix has always been my favorite pokemon, and now it gets to be in Smash twice.

Man, Richter is that one character that I kinda wanted but never expected to make it in since Simon is more iconic especially for Nintendo consoles. Fuck yeah!Also, looks like the character select is going to organize the fighters by character number instead of by series, hopefully there's an option to change how the fighters are ordered.
I forgot to mention this: I'm really looking forward to the Castlevania music renditions for this too. Divine Bloodlines is one of my fave tracks and listening to it in that trailer, I'm liking what I hear. The orchestra quality composition will make those tracks sound beautiful. I already like the violins/strings they used for Divine Bloodlines. Bloody Tears sounded great too. So many tracks they're adding, it's gonna be great.
My God, the madman did it! Thank you Sakurai! I will never ask you for anything again.I couldn't stop grinning after I saw K. Rool revealed in all his glory. The reveal itself was spectacular. I also really like what I see of Simon and Richter. Possibly cuz I'm not the biggest Castlevania fan, I couldn't picture in my head they would translate to Smash (same thing I was thinking with K. Rool), but the development team wows me time and time again. Chrom and Dark Samus were the icing on the cake. The new stages were great. Dracula's Castle looks crazy fun. I was real excited to see Fountain of Dreams and Brinstar Depths confirmed, too. I also like all the new game modes they're showing off (calling it now, the blurred out game mode at the end is Adventure Mode). Eh, what am I saying? I liked everything they showed. Sure made it hard for me to concentrate at work afterwards.
Turns out the blurred out text on the secret mode is readable thanks to poor video editing."Spirits." Maybe some kind of new adventure mode? Might have something to do with the fact that people keep getting literally killed in these character reveal trailers.
Well. Getting to this late, everything I wanted to say has already been said. Jmorphman, I echo those sentiments exactly, and who knows, looking to the future past this game maybe they'll diversify the echo characters even further. For now she's in the game, that's fine by me.Shame Luigi's now officially dead, for now and forever.
