Why?  It's not like she can kill him.  If she does, it'll only wake him up. 

Also, if the first book was meant to demonstrate how Homestuck would work in print format, I can only assume that the second book is meant to demonstrate precisely how heavy Colonel Sassacre's text is.  I'm pretty sure this damn thing qualifies as a tome.

UU and uu have different blood colors now?! What?

I mean if it's one troll it could be lying but so far, Hussie hasn't made characters outright lie before about serious plot points.

EDIT: Theory

UU and uu are the same person but represent a "glitch" which allows them to have different blood colors. Aranea says that the Alpha kids (or at least Jake) will find the power to defeat Lord English, who was stated to be indestructable unless he is defeated by exploiting time "glitches."

In the book series Complacency of the Learned, Calmasis fights Zazzerpan in a final decisive duel which (IIRC) ends in Calmasis' favor.

What I'm saying is UU and uu are the keys to defeating Lord English.

I'm sticking with my theory that uU is really one schizophrenic troll with two separate dream selves.  After this update it seems like it's leaning more and more toward that being the truth.

I dunno, them having different blood colors definitely throws a wrench into that idea.

Well, they have separate bodies as their dream selves.  The two personalities could have different blood colors there.  They might even have a completely different blood color in their real body.

I was thinking more about the way that uu went out of his way to clarify that he planned to kill UU's dream self, and not her real self.  If they were two people and he really wanted to kill her, why wouldn't he kill her real self and be done with it?

Okay, is there any way to read a summary of this series so far, or to a certain extent?

Because no matter how many times I try to like it, and to read it, I just can't go through it without raging at how horribly stupid it comes off as sometimes.
