That doesn't mean that he's not a moron.
He has a whole bunch of excuses; he's a kid who was raised alone on an island with no human contact besides online interactions, trapped in a game that seems to thwart all progress, in a confusing relationship with some weirdo from the future, and he it looks like he can't really talk to anyone about the stuff going on because Jane is all shy and bothered by said relationship and Roxy is always drunk.

and also he's a teenager, they're cuhrazay self absorbed

It indeed doesn't make him not a moron but I think it's all understandable.

Actually all the kids in Homestuck have no interactions outside of communicating with each other. Otherwise I'm sure at least Dave would've tried to drag a RL friend into it.

And of all the Alpha timeline kids, only Jane has had a chance to interact with other people in person, so Jake's situation is hardly unique.

I meant literally any human interaction whatsoever.

I'm not saying that the interaction thing is unique, it's just part of Jake's whole deal.

Jade situation was similar and she was still more open to contact without being as dense as him.

His living situation was similar to pretty much all of the trolls.

I'm actually glad that Fefeta's not doing much talking at the moment.  Between the cat puns and the fish puns I'm afraid she's going to end up being less intelligible than Mituna.

Also:  Roxy's off the sauce?  I wonder what prompted that.  Maybe she just ran out.

Unless her stash was destroyed, I doubt it. She also said something about quitting because of how she behaved when she was drunk or something.

Diamonds Droog, the Draconian Dignitary doting on Dad, the dapper detainee. 

This does make sense considering what Caliborn said.  Based on what he considers to be explicit sexual content, I can kind of see him assuming that this was some form of torture.

Is anyone else getting a little weirded out that all of these secondary characters are getting actual dialogue instead of the usual silence and narration?  It's, like, messing with the order.  You don't go messing with the order.
