... Not the type, the actual things that happen in the episode. I know S1 had them be big otaku fanboys, but ep 1 was only that and little story.

In terms of the figure discussion, should I spend money on the same Wizard that Jexsam is looking at OR should I keep saving my money for Super Apollo Geist like I've been doing for the longest.

I highly recommend it.  The die cast metal gives it an amazingly satisfying amount of chunkyness.  I like to pick it up about an inch and let it fall to its feet every once in a while just to feel the weight and hear that satisfying sound when it lands.  If you ever find yourself sitting on a fair bit of disposable income and/or no other toku figures are really speaking to you, it's a worthy piece to add to your collection.

Okay so.

Am I the only one who feels like they've decided to drop the mature tone of the previous series/movies in this one?  The last seasons were both brutal and visually stunning.  This one is every bit as visually amazing (1080p over at Over-Time is worth every byte), but has lost that more grown-up edge I enjoyed.

I also kind of miss the traditional "episode one breasts", but that's a rather small quibble.  <_<

Anyway.  This is of course only episode one, the next 23 may completely dash my fears.  Those are just my thoughts thus far.

So, Akiba ep 2 got a lot more interesting. Good.

i just couldn't get to like the sambarangers... i'd preffer to watch some old sentais instead

i might do that if it's still available when i get the money (seriously, i've bought way too much this month). that would be my 3rd mighty morphin megazord (1st is the 90's toys that included all zords that i got when i was a kid and the second was a super legends edition i bought like 4 years ago)

The Power Rangers are good but, this is Super Sentai wich is different. The Power Rangers are based from that actually. İ started watching Gosei Sentai Dairangers a while back and must say it's pretty great. The previous series was Zyurangers wich was basicly the inspiration for MMPR. They only used Kiba Ranger (White Ranger in MMPR) and it's Zords from Dairangers and used it in MMPR wich still had content from Zyurangers.

everyone in this thread already knows that rubber-pirate-man-child-kun

so i finally started watching kamn rider w, i've only seen 10 epsiodes (last episode was the misadventured of maid-detective-akiko) so far i've liked the half boiled detective shenanigans. can you please tell me the chronological order to watch the movies because w has plenty of them

somethign that took me by surpise is that kirihiko apperead butt-naked TWICE (so far) isn't kamen rider suposed to be a kid show? well i do remember luka from gokaiger getting groped i one or two episodes. but still.... when precure have costumes that show their midriff japanese soccer mom make an auproar for that but when this guys appears butt-naked they are ok with it?.... on second though i can see why

and speaking of precure and kamen rider...

Movie War 2010 - The W segment takes place between episode 12 and 13.
A to Z/The Gaia Memories of Fate - takes place between episodes 44 and 45.
Movie War Core - The W segment features the origin story of Skull told in flashback. Main story pretty much takes place after the series.

HEY, LISTEN!

just watched movie war 2010 the w segment was good but the decade segment was terrible (and the fact that i haven't even seen decade made it worse). i've only seen decade in action in movies and in all 3 movies i've seen he follows the same pattern:

suddenly one day tsukasa wakes up and decides to leave without telling anything to anyone and start killing all the riders and being a huge dick (not to mention get a stupid haircut) and everyone wonders why he suddenly turned into such a dick (and why he got such a stupid hairdo) and try to reach to him just to bruhsed aside by his dickness and horrible hair. and then PLOT TWIST it was all an act and he was actually saving everyone and being a martir and redeems himself at the end and changed his godawful hair (did i mentioned his hair looks stupid when he is "evil"?) and then he sets to find his own path until the next movie when he'll pull the same shit again.

is he like that in the show as well?

anyway, chronologicaly speaking when does the accel movie takes place? and do we see fang ever again?

I'm about 95% certain the Accel movie is post-W in its entirety.  Speaking of, it's the only one I haven't watched.  I need to find a working torrent or something because I really want to watch it.

Fang sees pretty limited use.  It'll pop up a few times, generally well-utilized, but in the end it felt kind of superfluous.

What interests me more is if Fang is compatible with the Lost Driver.  I'd freaking love to see even a one-off Kamen Rider Fang instance.

No, in the show Decade just has memory loss with Narutaki chasing him telling him he'll destroy the world but never saying anything else. And he's "just a passing through Kamen Rider" fixing stuff in various worlds.
The Accel movie should be after Movie War Core and everything, we see his final form.

I, for one enjoyed Decade a lot (A lot of the complains are unfounded), it was pure fanservice (Since I obviously watched all the Heisei shows beforehand), so...
