Argentina here, 65 cases, 2 deaths and all the cases from Argentinians who went to risky countries.
For now, 0 autochthonous cases, but in a few days here will come the cold, so we are ready for the worst stage, the people are buying too many products to stock up for weeks.
Schools closed, bars closed.
You CAN´T come to Argentina in ANY case.
Less people on the street.
More home office.

Please, not take this case like a "typical paranoia", we are affront to a virus that we don´t have a vaccune to alleviate the situation. This shit is VERY contagious, you can have the virus without knowing it or spread it to another without knowing it.
This virus is an RNA type virus, which can mutate for the worse or the better, and it is likely that it is already mutating for the worse in Europe.
Italy, Spain and France took this virus like a joke, and look them now.
Comparing this virus with other viruses and at other times is totally stupid,
Just stay in home the more time you can, and wash your hands.
Take care of others, and wait that this shit is totally over.

Colombia, 65 cases, 0 deaths, 0 autochthonous cases.
And they started to restrict international flights today.
And all the infected are completely isolated.

We have a little bit of paranoia but it's because we are a third world county and we have only a small number of medical facilities that can treat infected, the best we can do is having as little infected as posible so we can give them good treatment.
But wait!! We haven't made the Suave Dude character yet!!

From the states, Atlanta, Georgia to be exact. We currently have 1 death and 146 cases. The good news is we have some of the best medical facilities around, including The CDC. The bad news is people are only now starting to take this situation serious. We also have the busiest airport in the world which in and of itself is an issue in this situation. Most none essential places are closed and the mayor has limited public gatherings in conjuction with The CDC's recommendations. I predict our numbers will increase here but as long as its not at a rapid pace we should be mostly fine. I do believe this is going to be going on for a few months.
It's all the same in the end, matter and motion, simple or complex. No difference, finally. Death, transfiguration. Ashes to ashes and slime to slime, amen.

I'm in Burlington, North Carolina and unfortunately I work for Domino's Pizza as a driver. Last week was one of our slowest ever, but now that the restaurants here in NC are ordered closed aside from takeout and delivery, I anticipate a ridiculous amount of business. That sounds cool and all, because at least my job is safe for now, but we'll be offering no-contact deliveries and I am sure the tips will go down, plus the area I'm in is pretty conservative and there are a lot of people ignoring the warnings.

My biggest concern is that ever since my sister got evicted, my mom (who was living with her since my dad passed in 2014) has been staying with me. She collects disability for chronic COPD, and at her age, she's a very high risk for this virus. I have some money saved but not enough to miss work. So now I get to go to work and make all these deliveries, exposing myself to the virus every day for $8 an hour plus tips, and worry about bringing it home with me. I wash my hands compulsively and have been following all the suggestions for staying healthy, but I'm still pretty fucking worried.

... Holy shit, I got a bit confused so I looked it up, but you mean 300 deaths just today ? God damn.
If I struggled to the end of my determination, to the end of my way of life with my followers, if the result is ruin, then this ruin is inevitable. Grieve. Shed tears. But you cannot regret.

Discord is both an app for your phone or a browser application for your computer that works a bit like IRC , with channels and stuff, it also has voice chatting.

Sorry to hear... that's such horse shit.

The fact that select states and provinces still haven't enforced certain jobs to be put a full stop yet with some financial support is sickening and my hometown is no better. These employers need to be jailed. They've closed down schools, restaurants, major facilities, etc but casinos and overall greed remain in full swing. "Officials" still refuse to support those who could potentially be out for months, but wildly expect people to accept poverty over feeding their family.
My only grandparent (she is highly prone to strokes) that I'm blessed to still have is also at high risk. I trust my family will be okay, but very little is being done to ensure people will be staying home which is crazy to me.

It's getting pretty real in my city too. Our rates are still going up in BC and everything is basically on lock down now for the next 2-8 weeks. But steps are being taken to encourage and ensure people to stay home. Employment Insurance claims being granted to a large majority of workers. There are even reports of Mortgages and Rent being put on suspension until the crisis is over.

I'm in Pageland, South Carolina.

According to reports, the virus is in my state. A case was confirmed in Kershaw which is not too far from where I live :(

And on top of that, the schools in my state have been canceled for 2 weeks.

I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Theres been confirmed cases and deaths here already. I work in a grocery store. I manage a meat and seafood department. Let me tell you it's been insanity. They've closed all stores around us, we're the last ones open. I'm on no days off for the forseeable future, dealing with thousands of customers (being in a large city.) I've broken up fights, tried too put meat purchasing limitations on panic buyers, called police several times (without even getting a response at times due too high call volume), and have had too do all my personal shopping during the stores off hours just too be able to have minimal items for myself. In 10+yrs of retail I've never seen anything like this. I'm afraid for my life everyday at work, it's scary. My vehicle was broken into during my shift 2 days ago because someone saw grocery bags after we ran out of everything inside. Our truck loads have been coming later and later every day with less product, we're on a dangerous shortage. Unfortunately our store is refusing too close because we're all everyone has got besides fast food and pizza joints, we've alteted our opening and closing hours but it's caused more violence from customers.

I'm much more afraid of humanity than the virus itself. I bought a gun too protect my household since this block of houses and apartments have been getting broken into.

I Live in California, Santa Cruz County about 1.5 - 2 hours from San Francisco, As of Yesterday we are now on Shelter in place.

Officials are directing the public to stay at home as much as possible, with certain exceptions, such as to go out and get food at supermarkets, pick up prescriptions at the pharmacy, buy gas, “You will still be able to walk your dog, or go on a hike alone or someone you live with, or even with another person, as long as you keep six feet between you bank and check up on relatives.
Certain essential activities are exempt, such as essential government and business services or essential public infrastructure construction, like housing.
All Bars, night club, Gyms, and other non essential businesses have closed. Although there is still people in parks chilling like nothing is wrong.
Stores have been depleted of certain items, people buying stuff all stupid.
Luckily I'm still working and so is my girl friend so our income inst affected like others.
Just hopping people get there shit together or else we might end up like other places and be put on full lock down.
My county has 13 confirmed cases so far, not sure if there is any deaths, could be wrong. California alone is at 749 cases and 13 deaths.
Stay Healthy people!

When all of Canada is still under 600 cases, that is fuckin ludicrous. I assume Florida alone is likely a breeding ground right now...

Please consume good food, take your vitamins/supplements, exercise, and keep your health strong American brothers!

population of canada 37.59 million
population of california 39.56 million

and "all of canada", means that the population of canada is more spread than in california, so I say california is not doing much worse than canada , if not otherwise.

Reporting from Chile. Here, the hysteria takes all and most of the people are overselling the fear. Most of the cases come from the high-class who travelled to Asia and Europe who got the virus here, but since the Chilean press is so tabloid (and with 0 credibility since the 2019 protests) and the govenment is so useless and stupid, the panic got most of the country and now the classes are suspended in the whole country and in some works too. the rate is low until now (156 until today, almost all in peripheral counties where the high-class people lives), but we're the in second place in latin America after brazil.

But also, probably we're in the first place in the world for the memes about this (since the bat soup thing to the mofos who bought all hygienic supplies for themselves or to resell), so we could die here, but hey, at least we had some laughs, right?
What about Bad Mr. Frosty, Boogerman, Tiny, High Five, and CF63 1/3 Lifebars?

Yeah, similarly I was thinking, how did it reach Colorado, GLB ? Literal middle of the country with a whole lot of nothing and no one all around. Did it get here through the Denver airport or is there that much passage ?

College exchange students on holiday was the first speculation, but not confirmed. I know an elderly lady passed from it fairly recently. Not nearly as prominent as elsewhere but enough too cause community panic.  Lots of traffic due to the legal recreational marijuana also, so any guess is possibe i suppose.

My statement wasn't Cali specific, but a general comparison between Canada and US. But hey, have at it.
