where it is right now:

I also noticed when i was DL'ing it, it said something about files being corrupted

NVM I figured it out
the way i have it set up, I had to put data/BLAZBLUE/data/system.def

@joeinsidious that might be your problem, too OwO

If anyone is making portraits for these characters or others, please let me know, I'd love to have them :p

This. looks. awesome. I. can't.

BTW, Is it possible to put more than 24 characters in there? Just around 40, I don't like too big of a roster, but not too small either. If not, I ain't complaining either way. This is just too awesome.

I'll see how it is adding more slots.

I'm impressed. I just dont want chars for blazblue made by Daimonmau or speedy. They lag up my PC and other chars dont.
On the other hand, nice screenpack, maybe I could put in the lifebars put in a few chars and I have my own PERSONAL half done blazblue mugen edition! And lastly, why has nobody made lambda(A-11)!!!!!!

@Dazardz do what I do, just use Guilty Gear characters for now with Blazblue palettes.

here (http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?topic=125725.100) <-some of mine.
I still want to do all 12 palettes for each character, so much to go still, MalaDingDong also did one of Valkenhayn for Muteki's Slayer so you can get some of the look at least lol. Since I know there really aren't any properly made Blazblue characters.

This is my favorite screenpack by you thus far. Love the quality of everything, and it works just fine. Now all I need to do is figure out who to use for the twenty four character slots, and get some portraits. ^_^

Thanks for that, but now I have these hideous and noticeable pink outlines around the portraits. Can I force alpha blending some how?
Title: Re: BlazBlue Mod Edition Screenpack
Post by: Cybaster on August 16, 2011, 12:57:42 am
There are several ways to remove the pink outlines, and you'll have to test and try the one you prefer :
- Horrible way : you modify the palette and all the occurences of pink to be the exact same color as the transparent pink. Then you redo the palette.
- Before you palettize, you can select the pink part and manually color it to make sure all the dots are the same pink.
- Best way: start again your portrait : Set the BG layer to pink, and the front layers to your Mario pics, and then index everything, making sure you reduce the colorcount if necessary.

That would help, except everytime I re-size my portrait using free transform, it blurs the edges of the image a bit, and blends with the background.
Anyway I can prevent that blur?
Title: Re: BlazBlue Mod Edition Screenpack
Post by: Cybaster on August 16, 2011, 02:15:55 am
Index the image before and scale using "image resize" and not freeform transform.
Title: Re: BlazBlue Mod Edition Screenpack
Post by: 05QMFBOzcHvMmo11 on August 16, 2011, 02:32:36 am
Index the image before and scale using "image resize" and not freeform transform.

Indexing the portrait doesn't help, it still causes blur. There is no other way to resize a layer other than free transform. Resizing the image doesn't help either.

Sorry for my noobiness, but I am very frustrated right now.  --;
Title: Re: BlazBlue Mod Edition Screenpack
Post by: Cybaster on August 16, 2011, 03:20:47 am
Don't resize the layer with the pink already under it : take your Mario big portrait alone, and resize it with "Image -> Image Resize", and then copy paste your resized image onto what you want to be your final image. Of course, this will probably require resizing several times until you get the correct size you want. In this case, Ctrl+Z to go back to the previous size, and resize again (if you keep resizing up and down on the same image, the quality will become crap, so better go back one step, and resize from the original size).

Hi I posted here earlier about a problem with the select wheel and it was fixed. But I went to update it, and I made sure that the shared pallet option was disabled and the colors didn't go funny when I replaced it, however I am now getting the same problem I had the first time when I ran mugen.

This is what it look like in MCM
