E's Laf - Doujin Game

Apparently the game uses characters from various doujin games, mainly RPGs.  Cielo from Wonderful World also makes a guest appearance as the game's first (only?) grappler.

The game has options to run in 320x240 low res, 640x480 high res, and HD resolutions.  The characters have separate sprite sets for four different resolutions.
I wish they would calm down with all the HUD elements, there's way too much stuff going on to keep track of.

These characters started as MUGEN characters. I remember playing with two of them when you could find MUGEN version of them. Others have changed sprites but I can recognize their gameplay/weapons. Now they're offline, of course.

Also, is it me, or does the game seem really fast-paced?

For people who need help setting controls, in the config program go to the second tab for keyboard and the third tab for a joystick.

First column is directionals,  Up Right Left Down
Second column is your attacks
Third column is the fatal button and start/select (second option is just blank)

I'd actually want to know where the "Make the resolution as small as possible and disable every single fancy effect because my PC is a piece of shit" option is.

I managed to run the game though but it froze for a couple of seconds everytime so I couldn't really play it. I'll try on another PC later, this looks like a really neat game.

Hey AOK, any idea how the netplay in this thing works? Does it work at all?

Some friends are apparently interested in this game and they couldn't get netplay to work.

Option 1: Host
Set the delay then hit ok again.  It'll only increment in 2s

Option 2: Join
Type an IP and hit ok again.
