I'm having trouble with playing some video formats. I tried to install the Combined Community Codec Pack (CCCP), but it keeps crashing my computer. I click install and it instantly crashes. It's like my computer doesn't even want to try to install.Any suggestions?*EDIT* Perhaps some of the technical info from the crash screen will help.*** STOP: 0X0000008E (0XC0000005, 0X00000000, 0XEE22DB84, 0X00000000)
VLC used to not be able to play Matroska Video files, but now I have no reason to use CCCP either. If you really need to get CCCP working, try uninstalling all of your media players and codecs first.
O.k, I've uninstalled DivX and have downloaded VLC.I'm about to click to install. I hope this works...*EDIT* And it crashes my PC as well. It looks like it's not even trying to run the program, just instantly crashing. Here's the error report.I wonder if one of you could upload your media program folder and bypass installation.
I did some research and found some that one way to keep my computer from giving me the "Blue Screen Of Death" is to delete the minidump folder.
