We have been blessed with another masterpiece from the Alchemist himself.

+Superb coding in all aspects
+excellent bgm choice
+originality scale through the roof
- Possibly consider splitting the pillars into 2 and giving each side scale delta to match the parallax of the floor

Wow, this stage looks slick as fuck. Really has fun with the parallax and zoom, has some 3D to it. Great job.

Lol! You saw the floor sprite huh? Unless you understand interpolation, it's gonna be difficult. But if moving elements is the issue he has Bgctls at the bottom of the .def file that move all the elements of the floor as well as the sprites on top of it. And a Bgctl that moves everything in the background. Maybe that can be of assistance.  ;)

the problem is i want to make everything bigger than zoom out so character will not be too big . no need to change localcrood
but 1 most thing is scanline, 2nd   y scale on everything i don't know why

It's for the zoomdelta & perspective, also to not break the dithering of the floor, if you remove the scaling of everything you will see the stage returning to its original perspective, but is not as nice.

I find this method easier, but if you don't mind the lack of zoomdelta and are still interested in editing it I can give you the complete floor sprite :P

haha thanks, I don't mind the default zoomdelta,

Amazing stage Margatroid.
The only thing I could possibly suggest is to put the background "further back"
The amount of parallax scrolling on the small pyramid makes it look tiny. If it had less parallax it would seem bigger I think. It seems like it almost has the same amount of parallax as the end of the platform. The stage is amazing as is.

Well, I can't do much about that, either I remove them or use negatives, their delta is already pretty low.
Think of them as small nubian pyramids, instead of giza's. :P

haha thanks, I don't mind the default zoomdelta,

This is the alpha version, it has no zoomdelta so it doesn't have the same scope of the final one, nor the tendrils/tentacles.

Thought about adding a second light source (two suns), but wasn't too sure about how to handle the light over the moons & light influence with all the parallax (while remain as pixel art). Gives me ideas for a future update. :goi:

Thanks so much for the alpha version

here is my edit, as usuall no character scaling needed.

I'd lower the dunes a bit more, if you notice there's a gap when you jump, also so they blend better with the brightest part of the sky. :goi:

Just gonna throw this out there since we were literally discussing this on discord, but I know alot of people that use this forum are diehard fans of the whole "Shiyokakuge aka tatsu" style low res stages ( referred to on our discord as POTS for stages lol).

I was just going to point out that for anyone trying to imitate that style,
which is essentially heavy use of parallax and window functions combined with the add004 camera slow pan effect,
rather than study and copy those tatsu lowres stages with 2014 on the end of their name,
you should really be learning from Margatroids parallaxing and window methods which are far superior.
This man literally wrote the book on parallax if you look back on his earliest releases which i feel are undermined at times.

the whole tatsu stage thing (i assume that term started on this site) is really just a case of reading the mugen 1.1 documents and using all of the coding features available in 1.1 so yeah, just throwing that out there.

Also on a sidenote regarding scaling the stage etc etc, the faster way to fix that issue without needing to edit the original stage is to just change the char localcoord from 320,240 to 426.66,320.25

That's pretty strange. I tried it many times before and it wasn't working but now it is.
