yo, im new to this rippin sprites thing, and i just wanted to know how do u cleanly rip or hack sprites from an emulator such as kawaks...and if it allows u to rip sprites overlapping each other as well....any assistance in the right direction with detailed explanations or help will be greatly appreciated

yes , there might be a sprite ripping tutorial in the  tips and tutorials sub forum, look there first and post again with your findings/doubts.

use shot factory to disable the layers in the tools menu..
use ""blink selected" to know which sprites your disabling(for the background), then use the artmoney tutorial thing to get all the characters sprites
 ;D
if you ffind out how to rip sounds from kawaks can you tell me??
