Edit 2: Didn't noticed "CvS" is not an option. Changed it to CPS3 style instead.

I haven't begun working on the requests, but for those interested, I will be beginning with the single sprite requests, starting with those of Bastard Mami and City_Hunter, then the CPS3 single sprite requests, then the animated single sprite requests. That's the speed the arm moved at in the animation I got:

Though you are correct, a Capcom vs SNK 2 play-through with M.Bison says that the arm speed is not as fast as this, but I don't see it as a maker-or-breaker of the animation.
 
I'll look into it once everything is set in stone, but don't expect much.

EDIT: I also realized I made a mistake in his shoulder pads, can't believe I missed that. >_<

The mistake I was referring to is that the viewer's right shoulder pad enlarges was getting bigger with the first 3 frames. An easy fix. And thank you, I can't wait to see him come to life.

I know the face is big, it's a terrible habit I'm trying to kill :(

There is also the fact (and I just realized this) that the hair is gonna be a bit different than Mami's original sprite, in the sense of having more loose strands, because without them, the hair is gonna look soooo empty (at least that and the face can be fixed easily).

Messing around with Photoshop brushes today, and I created a dither pencil (yeah, it took me a while to figure it out), and I need an opinion on the results of what I made with it.

So as a training stage for Capcom vs. Square Enix, I've chosen Cosmogenesis from Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII as a training stage due to it's charm, and the fact that I wanted a training stage that you wouldn't see everyday. So I fiddled around with the pencil settings and made a dither pencil, and the results of drawing with it (and editing by normal pencil) was this:



(amplified to 200%)

So the bottom line is for the above results, yay or nay?

I would like to know, because if the results are, well yay, I will be redoing the Forest stage for Neocide's Dragon Ball Z All-stars project (because lets be honest, it's a complete fucking mess as is), and maybe redo the Shibuya Crossing (which is, as of now, on indefinite hiatus).

So yeah, an answer would be nice. I gotta know.

It was a quick edit, 15 minutes or so. It would have been less, had I not been spriting with my laptop mouse (I misplaced my mouse somewhere, and couldn't find it).
