R@CE AKIR@ made a really decent Yamazaki but this one has one hundred percent accurate Pots style gameplay. Thank you very much for your time and effort.

Anyway, here's that Freak-Out Fist animation like I promised a bunch of times (still lightly rough drafted)



Mostly the muscle details for his chest, and a bit of his head are the most bothersome to me.

Any chance you might add the Level 5 Drill finisher? Its a rather tough to perform special from the Real Bout Special games onward and his EX form in 98UM.

I'll eventually do that. I just need to fix the projectiles for Double Return (the EX version is pretty bad imo, and I wanted to get a chance to fix it properly, call me lazy for it).

Some suggestions.
After checking with kof 2002 um and 98 um, Yamazaki can chain into his stomps  this is all on you though.

The level 2 version of the Down forward any punch  hyper, when yamazaki picks up the OP and slammes him into the ground that looks really weird to me, why not make is as the max version in 2002 um ? where Yamazaki repeatedly stomps the op ? I find that way better looking.

Why not add the little pause when Yamazaki also grabs the OP in the air for the same hyper ? it looks great in the OG games and the sound effect used is a common one.

The new sprites being posted here look great to me.

By the way when on his recent update and an easy to miss thing, I should also mention that the lifebar portrait on the select screen is using the color separation palette instead of his default one. You might want to fix that too. Should be an easy fix as he has palettes set on his def file.
I will still do detail and aesthetic feedback for the rest.

Awesome, there was something off to it for me as well but I could not put my finger on it.

SolidZone 26, if you are using mugen 1.1 it wont color the portrait accordingly its a 1.1 bug.

I was talking about during the screenpack's select screen when choosing a character, not on the lifebars during gameplay. I already know about that bug and I don't think it should matter whether it's 1.0 or 1.1 for that case. The color displays whatever the character is set on. For Knuckles's Yamazaki, it's showing the color separation palette. That's what I meant.
I will still do detail and aesthetic feedback for the rest.

That's just what the doctor ordered! It was like that in the original version too, and it was a bother for me too. Many thanks!
