here is the short description and changes I have made in beta release 2009.
The most recent version is the one written in red with normal font size (small fonts blah blah are for the outdated versions)


adding new big photo, ready to use, would be included in my next release as default pic but, here they are.

changes have been done in November 22:

-smoothening alternate stances animation
-adding new taunt dan reorganize taunts codes for hentai mode (including new anim, and new interesting effect)
-lots ofnew FX made in PI to replace my "poorman" KOF effects

changes have been done in November 21:
-adding 4 fighting stance sets depending of the life (4stages of tiredness, doesn't affect gameplay cosmetic purpose only)
-changing fx and hitdef of sevral moves
-changing anim for kuro compatibility
-fix a bug in cmd (adding extra trigger to prevent mixed up roll and jab or lightkick)

-adding basic compatibility to Minotaur (will be compatible but most of the anim are taken from Kuro compatibility) will be smoothened in later release  ;D

August 26 release:
-adding 1 frame to standing HP
-changing the hitdef for crouch HP (will launch opponent to mid air but not with negative x)
-changing the hitdef and animtime for standing fwd + HK (it will strike/ blow opponent away back)
-changing the jump height and gravity (much less floaty feeling) normal jump will be more usable to close in & combo starter
-fix some bug in cmd (standing HP being cancelable to other move almost instantly, now it will only connect to other move after move contact)
-new small portrait
-some new hit fx
-new anim for kuro's kick-throw
-some adjustment to Raging Vultures.
-adjustment in walk animation faster anim and steadier
-using drug will make her temporarily walk and run faster

July 14 release
-new Super "Raging Vultures"  command = ~D, B, F, a/b
close range beat up type, can be chained from "close Hunting Claw" (~D, B, x)
can be performed while running
need 1000 power

-new animation for standing jab & new forward jab

-smoother standing HP animation

-smoother roll, using nothitby (NA,SA,HA,NP,SP,HP,NT) and playerpush

-some new sparks

-new taunt (H version)

-new opening pose for censored version

changes have been done:
-final vultures H version with new torso shading
-final vultures censored version is done (for pal 1-6)
-add another standing HK, f + HK here is slowmo preview of the move
-kuromaru compatible (100%)

-new movelist & intro
-6 new optional cute anime style palettes like these:

gameplay changes:
- Final Vulture, command fixed, easier to pull out (still in ~x,x,F,a,b though)
- New move after counter/ Breaker stance, multiple 3 kicks hits combo + 1 non conected overhead  
- add new Standing HK, by holding the button she kicks higher
- corrected player width & "final vultures ending round" unstucked (thanks to Galsia )
- new sounds from chizuru, mature, and Iori (pitch changed)

sprite changes:
- smoother edges on most visible frames.
- facial expressions for talking frames
- smoother animations
- new sprites for jump LK
- compatible with kuromaru almost complete
- midnight bliss victim anims done
- new bigger & smoother & sharper looking kunais :)

still need to be done:
- new portrait for select screen
- more custom hit sparks.... I could use some help there, I'm suck at making sparks, but I'll try

gameplay changes:
- Final Vultures require 3000 power & new raging demon command
- Counter/ Breaker moves will spend 250 power without gaining power by the end of the move
- clsn 1& 2 changed for all moves
- projectiles can be nullified if collided by others, and accurate clsn for bomb and knive ( pretty small)
- changing guard.hittime on moves

sprite changes:
- substantially bigger & jiggly boobies  for every single sprite (100% done)
- one more secret win pose for H- version (pal 7-12)
- 2 lose poses for H- version (pal 7-12)
- pal 1-6 is censored except for final vultures (not yet done)
- compatible with kuromaru
- adding several frames in attack animation to smoothen the move

still need to be done:
- new portrait for select screen
- sound.... I wish she can say a word or two of her special move...
- more frame in attack anims

Thanks, I hope she is now more normal lol.

anyway here is my plan of updating my original val from ninja val, the costume can have sleeve or sleveless depend on the palette
and add 3extra swatches for the lip too  ::)
so that the plan spritewise, gameplay wise I dunno.... maybe less annoying

I have mixed feelings about this since the first version a couple years back. I remember you well, you're quite an artist, that's shown on the portrait which goes for a realistic look, and it's good, but kinda doesn't fit with other characters, nor does it convey any emotions or a concept.

From what I can see, I understand she's kind of a ninja femme fatale and stuff like that, but her face and attitude throughout the character spriteset makes her feel like just a voluptuous woman trapped inside a man's fantasy (which she is). You need to try to convey an emotion, like if she's a femme fatale give her truly violent moves, or an indifferent or even angry look on her face, gimme something to work on.

As an artist I respect you, you're very talented, and to complete a spriteset like that requires a big effort. It's just the whole thing it's ruined for me since this is an H character, which makes me wonder about your motives ... like making such a big effort just because you're a pervy guy :P ?

I DID MENTION I HAVE MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT THE WHOLE THING, RIGHT?

thanks, you were Walt? perhaps? I appreciate your in depth review in the character concept, (I'm doing some sprite edit again to fill in gaps in non-fluid movements, and to convey more strength or speed into it)

however I pictured her as a cheeky, light hearted, sneaky character full of dirty tricks and knowing her way to abuse it in her AI fighting style, without involving her emotion into it, as a good ninja she should do that right.
So I'll try to make the new portrait with that in mind, thanks.
this is the concept sketch, she has deceptive looks on her face, try to cover half of her face, and you'll see a serious and happy expression in the same time

my current coloring style is somewhat like this

I tend to make sketch with more animeish look, and during the coloring, I change her features into more realistic as the layer of color developed, so its more like painting over than coloring. BUt yeah I still doesn't fit with other SF, KoF, SS, GGX rosters, but it is my style.

However, I also aware that lots of her attacks are unfair (apart from the move itself) so I revised the damages, pause time, collision, etc. all those attributes that make them worse. I hope she is alot better now.
But again I'm not a good coder, so I do the best I could, maybe it is not as smart or efficient as it should be written, but this all I can do.

as for the H matter, I do enjoy fan service from mangas, animes, like Gantz, OH-Great! mangas, ninja scroll, those kind of stuff. I don't like nude character, but fan service here and there is enjoyable for me. That's who I am.

once I finished her censored Hyper attack, then she would be totally censored for the first 6 palettes. I did that specially for MGF  ;)

Oh wow....it's this chick from long ago. I remember seeing her back in the day.

Now, I can't say much about gameplay, but looking at the SFF (cuz ya know.....I look for MBs and whatnot), aside from the H material, the sprites are pretty well done and better than the last I remember. Also, even though I'm not into H, for the Midnight Bliss.....I have to say.....that will actually be rather useful maybe to me later. I think you're the first I've seen do draining like that, and well....it works. Though it could use a bit more work of course, but that's up to you on that  ;)

Glad to see you're still working on her (I already had Val and ninja val, now I'll see it like a brand new char so I'll have the 3 of them).

I've read the post about the femme fatale stuff, and I don't even understand what's the idea because she seems very realistic (to me)

OK, shocked and burned would be planned then, I didn't find any suggested anim number for those moves on mugen air guide, could somebody help me with the standarized sff group number or anim number for burn and shocked victim?

Standardized anim for Shock is 7696, and for Burn I believe it's 7697.

For Shock, depending on the number of sprites and how you want to do it (SFIII style, SFA style, DS style, etc)....well......it depends. lol
