Yes, I'm asking about another Touhou game, but this time, its a fan game.

Am I able to obtain it for free legally?
Or does it require money to buy, to obtain legally?

Because I did a search and heard somewhere that the game is free to download, no cost at all.
But I remember how many of the fan games made in Japan (whats it called? dōjin games?) cost money.

So does anyone know if what I heard is true? (It's free to download and play.)
Or is what I heard false? (It costs money to get it.)

Until they make the game available in English and offer a way to purchase it through the internet, you shouldn't care whether it's free or not. You can't buy it legally anyway because these are generally sold in Japan on anime conventions only.

Sounds like it's what I'm talking about. Unless you visit Japan and go to the anime convention/shop they are selling their game at, you can't buy it legally. You can visit the game's official site for more info, if you can read Japanese.

So, looks like the info I got was somewhat incorrect.

I searched around on the official website and found a trail version of the game.
I guess I'll just play around with that instead.
