Game rips from the new French Bread and Type Moon game, MBTL is here! Includes all base roster characters. All sprites are CSed and Indexed. Base and Custom colors made by the Melty Blood community are also included. The thread will be periodically updated when more things becomes available.

Huh, these sprites are like, 15% bigger?

Supposedly Miyako should be smaller than Shana from Dengeki Bunko or Llenn from UNIST, yet she's like half a head bigger

I like it, make sprites look more clean.

That was fast. Are there any plans to rip sprites from the screenpack and/or lifebar?

Now that I figured a way to extract some of the files, time for an update. expect more to come in the following days.

But honestly this is very interesting to see how French Bread's sprites have evolved over the years. Also this maybe a noon question but could someone explain to me how sprites like the original Melty are very small, yet they aren't that small when compared to the other sprites when place in the Mugen Engine?

An update has arrived.

You can resize the sprite size in mugen.

How to interpret the RGB values of images in the sprite folder? I thought it means which pixel in palette should I take color from, but it doesn't seem to be correct.

Also, could you also upload the original DDS files (8bit gray-scale before CS)?  I managed to dump the dds from pc version but I couldn't get the order right.

Do these rips have all the announcer voices for the different characters? I ask because I'm having trouble telling from the file/folder names.

Aoko and DA Noel is here! Well, the sprites atleast.

So, I got some bad news. My switch broke, so I won't be able to rip the texture effects, and some of the dds files.
These files are compressed in a pat file on the pc version, and I have no idea on how to do memory editing using HxD.
Unless someone send me a dumped Switch MBTL Update Version 1.13, I will not be able to rip them and put it on the Drive.

But I do have some alternatives for the cut ins.



this will take a while since it's pretty time consuming but there's really no other way.

I already extracted the base game stage texture for TL, and I think I can do that for UNICLR. I'll upload them later tho since something came up IRL.

The sprites colors being all wacky and weird were intentional, since that's how they came out when they're extracted.
You need to apply the pallete from the pallete folder to the sprite yourself using Fighter Factory, Photoshop or any app that can edit the indexed sprite. If you don't know how to, There's plenty of tutorials out there that tells you on how to do it.

Unfortunately, most of the stages are in bin format. So I'm unable to convert them.

Unlike the 2 stages that I uploaded where the normal fbx is just laying there. The rest of the Type Lumina stages are in a bin format. FB uses these as their custom binary fbx and I have no idea how to export them.
