Yep, T-Hoppy will be my next CF project to be made... apart of the update ClayFighter Ryu needs, of course. Just starting with the SFF and AIR, I hope to make more during these months, but as I said before, CF chars won't be a priority as in 2023 (and prior to C&D) but will be done. And of course also I'll be working on the 2 "secret" chars for Infinite Clayfare (that aren't secret anymore and because the game also doesn't exist XD) thay will be made during this 2024 ;)

A single standing sprite in a MUGEN screenshot isn't enough to be considered a MUGEN project. Show us more, like walking, jumping, making some punches and kicks or a special, etc., maybe more screenshots or a video, I want to see more of this, but as it is now looks more like Idea Engineering subforum material

I found the trailer on Twitter and got a bit shocked TBH. Good to see this game is back, but not sure yet if this is a sequel or another update, seems to be the second. Anyway, I loved the original game and AoC (even I got in mind to make Kou or Crow in some time) and I'll be waiting for this one, great news and thanks to post it apart of the main FG news thread

One game was forced to going to an end, but there was another that was left unfinished... time to correct that once for all...
Yeah, AGP will be reborn after more than 10 years of being in Development Hell, but since I just have the idea only again, by now will be in Idea Engineering until I can advance on it for real, so this will be like a planning thread to revive it (and no, the old subforum is blocked to post this there, blame the admins)

So, to remake this and finally put it on an end, I need to do these things first:
  • First of all, move in from WinM to 1.0, probably I'll use 1.0 Final ver. as with Infinite Clayfare (or maybe IKEMEN??)
  • Second, need to make the screenpack and lifebars, I still got the designs collaborators did to me in the past, so now I know how to make them both, that the first priority
  • Something important to do: establish a solid base for the clones. One of the reasons I stopped to work on this is because I felt the actual base was lacking stuff, as well the "exclusive skill" for every clone wasn't very elaborated, so now I'll experiment to get a solid base for all clones
  • And of course, to finish the clones. There're only 5-6 of the 16 finished, there're a lot to do, but having a good base (see point above) that will be easier that I thought
  • The story base and the stages will remain the same: something more cyberpunk mixed with part of SF lore and the clones story, so the main story will remains the same, no changes here
  • And of course, your past collabs will remain as planned: the voice acting for clones, the logos and other ideas for the game will be used as planned with all the credits. So don't worry, your voice for some clone or the logo or lifebars you did for the game will be there ;)
OK, time to organize all of this and blow the dust and the spiderwebs from that old project to get it into life once again. As with all my plans on MUGEN, when I get something concrete to show you, then I'll move this into Projects, so until now you've to see this in Idea Engineering ;)

Man.. I really, REALLY  think that the programing job of this char was great. accurate and functional. But, duuude... I can't say the sabe about the SFF work. It's lame.. Some sprites os her are simply indescribable. I just disregarded using it on my mugen. the arms look like they are made of rubber. Sorry..
I'm not going so harsh as this guy, but I agree with him sadly... more than those details he said, this was a step back comparing with his first version, which was toned down (and more CVS-like) version of the pornographic NinjaBR's Lucia (so NSFW that makes me think she could be even Kuromaru/Minotaur compatible). This one looks like wants to go there again, too much boob anims and made a bigger ass, now her jeans shorts looks like a hot pants with jeans design on it. And for some reason, don't like the SFV voice on her (japanese one I suppose), but that's a personal opinion

About the gameplay, probably it's improved over the old version, but I prefer another one should see that, don't like this version to download it, still prefer the old version, so sorry Nexus

OK, time to move on onto new projects. My ClayFighter chars will be make just like before, but won't be a priority as in 2023 (and prior to C&D). As I promise, the chars I left to do from 63 1/3 and Sculptor's Cut will be done, but more later than sooner this time:

My favs of the list are Ickybod Clay and T-Hoppy, but maybe I can make a poll to decide which one will be the one you want to see in MUGEN by my hand :pleased:

Thanks for the comments and the videos :D

- There is a very brief window during Shinkuu Tatsumaki where you can hit him and he'll get stuck in the air. This is a very subtle bug so I had to edit my screenshot a little.
- For some reason, the command for the first combo finisher has a slightly different input depending on the version you're using. In the Winmugen version, it's "F, D, DF", and in the 1.0 version it's "D, DF, F".
- This one is more of a nitpick but I feel like as it is, the SF4 voice doesn't fit the classic SF2 sprites. I was thinking you could either switch voices OR maybe even edit the SF4 voices to make them low quality like the other Clayfighter characters.

- That's a good idea indeed, I'll see what I can do (originally I wanted to use SFTM voices but can't find enough for the character... or more lines in english)

  • Many of his standing normals will miss on shorter characters, this is more notable on Octohead, but chars of similar size will probably have a similar issue.
  • Shinkuu Tatsumaki is very inconsistent with how it hits characters. For example, it seems to work perfectly on Octohead, but it will push Ryu and KFM away after only a few hits and will get less hits than it should on Bad Mr. Frosty, I won't test it on everyone, but it should get all its hits in on everyone.
  • Not sure if intended, but he can't do a single weak attack > medium attack > strong attack combo. His standing and crouching punches will always push the enemy too far away for his strong punches to connect, his medium standing kick simply does not chain into his strong kicks and his crouching weak kick doesn't chain into his crouching medium kick.
  • "Get serious." "Get serious." "Get serious" really needs to go. It's better if the line only happens once in a while or if it doesn't happen at all and he just grunts when attacking.
  • This is more of a personal preference, but I agree with N_N about the voice. SF2 voice would fit well because of the low quality, but the SF4 voice could also fit if you edit it to have a really bad quality like the other voices in ClayFighter. I also think that in both cases you could make the voice a little more accelerated, since the other characters do talk like they're in a hurry to finish their lines.
  • Another personal preference, I think his Hadouken looks a little too... shiny and detailed compared to other ClayFighter projectiles, which are more on the simplistic side. It's also not transparent. I used Earthworm Jim's projectile to make a mockup of what I mean, I adjusted it to be more symmetrical (which Jin's isn't, but I think Ryu's should be) and to be roughly the same size as the regular Hadouken, if made sorta like that and transparent, it would be more fitting.

- Since I barely edit FAX's Ryu AIR, it's expected to happens that. In IC, there's a high possibility you'll get it harder against short chars like Kangoo, Sarge and Boogerman
- Here I can't make a lot, it happened also with Taffy's Super Taffy Twist. It all depends of the hitboxes of the opponent mostly, in some oppoents connects all the hits and in other barely can connect some, it's a rulette TBH
- Strange, I can make those Capcom combos with him, but eventually I'll adjust the hitvels to make hom more comboable... or maybe not since Ryu esencially is a 1-hit character mostly. Well, I'll see that
- Oh yeah, I noticed after a time playing with him XD I need to add more phrases so he can say more stuff
- I also agree, as well the accelerate the voices, got that idea in a beginning but I didn't apply it in the end. For the update those things will be done for sure (and maybe an alt SND with his SF2 voices)
- Another thing I was thinking to do and I didin't... I got another in mind, like a clay spit (CF2's Blob/Slyck projectile) but with white, even it was added to the SFF, but I never used it. That's a good idea to use Jim's fireball as Ryu's with those colors, maybe I can change it for the next update

Pues ando pasando TODA mi coleccion de MUGEN(Win mugen) a IKEMEN GO y uff, hay muchas cosas que no quedan. Por ejemplo los escenarios,Se ven como el Qlo con un zoom viendolos tan cerca . PERO peor cuando descargo alguno que esta diseñado para MUGEN 1.0 o 1.1. Mi duda es,hay forma de arreglar que los escenarios se vean bien ,tal vez no con el zoom estilo AOF,pero me conformo con que se vean los personajes,ya que algunos de los escenarios solo se ven apuntando al cielo.

Los escenarios en 1.1 e IKEMEN están programados en base a estas versiones, la única manera de "repararlos" es haciéndolos de 0 reprogramando todo, así que te conviene saber de códigos o buscar nuevos escenarios compatibles con estos

Vaya, este hilo en español está terrible de muerto, ojalá el 2024 reviva esto porque está para el ojete. Ojalá pasen todos un feliz 2024!!

I released a beta for Halloween but now the main villain of ClayFighter series has his definitive version. Dr. Kiln has been released officially as a completed character, with all his arsenal and ready to convert the world in a giant ball of clay!!

For those ones who doesn't know about him or his previous release, he has all his moves from ClayFighter 63 1/3, Claytalities and Insane Combo included. For those ones who already got the beta version, here're the new stuff:
-First of all, now he has all his FX and a big portrait XD
-Added the lacking moves from the beta: his throw, Fire Beam move and his Insane Combo
-Added 3 more Claytalities, now he has the 4 from the game
-Compatibility with MUGEN1.0+ (data, winquotes, etc.)

And... instead of screenshots, I made a character trailer for him (which is also the last I'll make for my CF chars)

(it has a surprise inside, watch it until the end)

Again, I can't upload anything to my site, so here's a MediaFire link for now, I hope to update this later with the release in my site again. Enjoy!!

I will soon rule ze world, HAHAHAHAHAHA!!

ClayFighter Ryu has been released, only left Kiln, which I'm polishing his claytalities, but he's basically ready, so tomorrow you'll get him. Also I prepared a final character trailer for him, won't be more for the next I'll make nor the ones I never did by being unfinished cooperations (Sumo Santa and Blob).

But... that video has a surprise you'll see soon, the 2 secret characters I wanted for Infinite Clayfare that will be made anyway for normal MUGEN will be revealed at the end of that video, so stay tuned ;)

EDIT: Dr. Kiln also was released, now the circle is complete

An experiment that first born in the past April Fools 2023, the first idea was to edit POTS' Ryu into ClayFighter 63 1/3 style passing it as a new edit of that char, that eventually was ditched the idea in favor of N.Boss... idea that was reborn during these months after the rest of the C&D and the release of the beta of Dr. Kiln. The idea remains the same with a little twist: now it's in SFII style instead CVS. So I took an old Ryu from WinM era and converted into something more "moldable."

This is an experiment as those ones I didn't have since years ago, something like Gen-an, Shuma-Gorath or Eagle Zero, something dedicated that I wanted to do and finally I can bring to you, so I hope you like it ;) of course it's M1.0+ compatible, so don't worry ;)

Sadly, there're problems with Guild's FTP so I can't upload it to my site, but always I can count with the ol' reliable MediaFire. Eventually I'll update this with the link of my site as well the screenshots (now on Imgur), but meanwhile here's the link, enjoy ;)
