So I just downloaded an iso for Dokapon Kingdom for my PS2.  I thought: "hey a ridiculous 4 player monopoly like game from Japan, why not? It looks fun and it can't be more complicated than Itadaki Street!"

So I went about downloading it.
It finished.
When I went to burn the iso on to a DVD, I realized IT WAS A FUCKING CUE

A .CUE!!!?
THE FILE IS 2.5 GB LARGE
.CUE = NOT COMPATIBLE WITH DVD-R
MOST CD-ROMS ARE 700 MB LARGE
FUUUUUUUCK
WHO IS THIS RETARDED
I WANT TO KILL BABIES

Anyone know of a good and free Cue -> Iso converter?

Wednesday was lovely for me.  Woke up at noon, realized I missed a class, looked outside and saw a white out.  In my email was a lovely letter from my professor about how he hates life and is stuck in his driveway.

In its ass, son.

I repaired my glasses the vintage way by applying a fork to hold them in place. What do I get for my hard work? Completely busted glasses from slipping and falling down a 10 ft drift after trying to climb it to get to my house. Screw nature.
I read that as "I wasn't fully prepared for the snow and forgot to wear my rocket boots walk carefully due to the area I live in and current conditions which every person should have done during the snowstorm.  I blame my faults on nature."

My condolences for your damaged eyeshield though.

I swear, I get all of the goddamn snow. I got like 3 inches[b/] then a ton of rain. My college closed, which was awesome though.

Spending an hour and a half shoveling, is not.
Where do you live?

I said moreso drawn by hand, not entirely.  It's highly understandable why they'd argue.  They're somewhat in the same niche for people, as they both somewhat cover the weaboo/savvy fighting game fan.  It's strange how Street Fighter is so far ahead these days that now it's no longer Capcom vs SNK, but SNK vs ASW. 0_o''

Really strange, especially since they have such different playstyles.

As for the relation of size, after measuring the pixels on the image I noticed that you're right.
The Blazblue one is 1.547x larger, and given distortion due to the bend of the picture I'd say it's probably 1.5x.

Once again the big guy can't dash and gets raped for being too tall. He can't even crouch because that would make him vulnarable to overheads.  :(
Also, much like Potemkin, he has many moves with super armor, his back dash is invulnerable and all his moves do a ridiculously large portion of health.

what ? it is 3res and IIRC the sprites are even smaller than kof xii's.
If I recall correctly, they're 2x the size of GGX, so wouldn't they be 4res?

Comparison to GGX:

KoF XII probably has larger sprites.. but that's because they used 3d models and recorded the sides.  Blazblue sprites are moreso drawn by hand.

Both look smexy though.

If they were really interested in making a beginner-friendly game, they should've made included a few impressive moves a player could do with the press of a button.
Yea I read that in the comments too..

Nah..they need to keep releasing games for the PS2....so i can get them for FREE...region free as well.

PS2 slim + Swap Magic + Flip Top is your friend.
You missed something:
The main reason to get Accent Core Plus is for the story.

If you import/pirate ^C+ like I did, then you get lots and lots of Japanese dialogue... with no English subtitles.

It surpassed SF2 everything long ago.

People should be supporting Blazblue instead. >:(

Yeah I didn't mean right now. ;P
V

Buying AC+ gives money to both Aksys and ASW, so technically it is supporting Blazblue.
Almost every GG has expanded upon the series, with the exception of Petit and the handhelds.

Here's what I can recall:
Guilty Gear 1: establishes base for the series, obviously.  main story.
Guilty Gear X: Graphics buffed up immensely.  Several characters added.  Expanded story with Dizzy, daughter of Justice.
Guilty Gear Petit: lol Pocket Fighter
Guilty Gear Petit 2: lol Pocket Fighter with more characters
Guilty Gear X Plus: Story Mode implemented, password mode, reimplemented Kliff and Justice.
Guilty Gear XX: Adds several characters.  Character driven plots.  Air throws and aerial dust implemented.
XX#Reload: Balancing, added Robo-Ky as a playable and separate character.  FRC's added.  PC mode provides base for fan-added ONLINE PLAY(fuckyear).
GG Isuka: Different idea, odd execution.  4 player 2 planar fighting game.  A.B.A added.  Beat-em-up mode for kicks.
XX Slash: Lots of balancing.  Movesets altered extensively.  Order Sol added.  Music selector added.
Handhelds: Judgement is fun, has a beat em up mode like Isuka.  Dust Strikers is a platformer, which is basically shit.
Accent Core: Lots more rebalancing.  Force Breaks, throw breaks and Slashbacks added.  Accepted Tournament edition as of now.
AC+: Justice and Kliff added for kicks.  Awesome branching story mode added.
Guilty Gear 2: WHAT'S GOING ON EVERYONE IS 3D AND 90% OF THE CHARACTERS ARE GONE

So basically, elements implemented in the series have dwindled over time, but the storyline has pushed forward with character driven plots.
I was going to include something about how SF2 sucks and Capcom is lazy, but then I realized it was 17ish years ago, so every small element added was pivotal towards the expansion of the 2d fighting genre.  I'm not deleting that list though, even though it's useless.  It took me 6 minutes or so to write, damnit.

They should release a PS3/360 version with online mode, or even a PC version with online would rock, but..........ps2  :omg:
ASW hates online play.  Daisuke and the crew came out and said in an interview that they think online play doesn't work with fighting games, since they cherish the arcade experience.

Also: This is getting a release for the Wii and PSP from what I've heard.  Big plus, since I enjoy any fightan for the PSP.  Helps alleviate the pain of long car rides.

Has anyone seen the Tower of Druaga?
I've been too bogged down with schoolwork to watch any anime; I want to know if it's worthwhile/even out yet.

On another note: I've been watching Kurozuka lately.  It reminds me of an okay version of Texhnolyze, with a little more blood and action and less psychological undertones.

The game should have been ended by the referees as mercy.  It's not their faults.  If they had held back, it would be insulting the other team.

Who deserve to be insulted, because they suck.

I'll use JYB as an example. Johnny Yong Bosh does Renton in Eureka 7 and Ichigo in Bleach, and Vash in Trigun, and they sound almost nothing alike.
He also does Lelouche in Code Geass....
And yes they all sound alike.  If you want to use an example of a good VA who uses different voices, check on Steven Blum

John Ritter smacked my cousin's ass a while back when I was in new york.  He died a few months later.
Ass of death, yo.

I've met countless football players and such, since my parents' neighbor is one.

I also met Yuri Lowenthal.  He's actually pretty a pretty cool guy.
