Better Quality

Hi i am new to mugen, first of all i am sorry if this question has been asked or answered before but i just downloaded MUGEN battle zero and its great.
However how is it that the videos or screenshots that i see online of other peoples mugen is very clear and crisp with much better quality but mine is pixellated ?

I'm using hi res mugen and a 19 inch widescreen monitor, i have tried to set the resolution to 1440x900 , used DoubleRes = 4;�?¦DoubleRes4‚ɌŒè and stretch set to 1, and ran it in software but the quality is no where near those that i have seen. Though i realize that setting stretch to 1 would reduce the quality but the screenshots i've seen seem to be running mugen at a bigger window with no quality loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanx in advance.

Mugen doesn't have a resolution better than 640x480. And doubleres=4 is the best you'll get.
Try recording a video or making screenshots, I'm sure you'll get something like the other guys did, because you won't be able to get better than what you already have.

I use FRAPS for video  ;D

Hi thanx for the speedy reply, really appreciate it. If mugen does not support anything higher than 640x480 then what is the diff between normal mugen and hires mugen ?

Normal mugen doesn't support HR stages and select screens (which are actually in 640x480), but HRMugen does.

because .. LOL (not at you) 640x480 is considered "HI RES" in mugen.
