I'm working on fixing the AOF stages you mentioned. At least what's actually broken. Some things are visual aspects from the source. You mentioned my Lee stage from AOF 1 had
no animations? Which one? The SNES version or the Arcade version? I made both.

Love the style on this stage!
There is something satisfying about seeing parallax with these kinds of sprites
The music fits perfectly as well
And I think that pathway in the background adds a lot to the stage, love that.

Thanks a bunch, bro. And I agree. I really love to see 8 bit/pixel sprites with parallax. Reminds me of how back in the day, game creators would work magic with such low resolution. I've got one stage in particular. I've been waiting for the right time but I'll start it soon. It'll be a little while, but you'll know it when you see it. Till then imma drop the rest of these World Heroes stages. Still got plenty of them to go. Stay on point, Vogel.

Oh he's in there. Lots of Easter Egg stuff is going on now. You just have to be in the right place at the right time to see it. Try waiting around at the opposite ends of the stage.

There's nothing more to see after the second knife is thrown though.

I think it makes sense that Jason is a bit hard to find. Usually when you see him, it's already too late.

This is epic! I've always wanted to put a twist on the Australian Outback stage, but I couldn't think of anything already done. But this did the trick! Killing it, as usual man.

The effects really make the 8bit sprites pop, also this game is a guilty pleasure of mine.

Thanks for the vid. I understand now. The fense thing is a major mishap. Definitely gonna fix that. The fence not being open in front of the paths or the houses was for coding sake. It was just easier to tile the fence than code separate sprites. But it's something to do in an update. And the hedges at the bottom were actually put there to cover the void and not have to recode the parallax. When I initially finished this stage it was on 720p, but when I tested it on 480p it had a black area at the bottom. So added the hedges cuz it was easier. The weird zoom thing...I have no answer for that, lol! Guess I got work to do.  :8):

Ah, I've seen this happen with other stages I downloaded from other creators, too. My stage may work best for 720p. I'll test as soon as I can, but if anyone can confirm this it would be appreciated.

I hate to be that guy when everyone is being so positive, but I'm using Mugen 1.1 and both versions of the stage are broken for me. If you jump with any amount of height such as double jumping with kung fu man the floor art pulls up hard covering the fence. In fact in the 1.1 version the floor is by default pulled up hard enough to cover the fence art (you cant see the grass at the bottom of the fence bars). and you also cant see the cool bottom part either. I also think that with some sprite edits that shouldxnt be too hard for me you could make the fences open up so the background paths connect to the floor path, but that's more just a taste thing.

If for some reason you or anyone else cant see these floor issues I could make a quick video showing them off.

EDIT: I could also add in Jason cameo. My idea for this would be for him to walk in from the right after like 30 seconds and throw his machete projectile(he does have one I think) across the screen then waddle back off then after another 30 seconds come in from the opposite side and do it.

No problem. I'll check it out? What resolution are you using? Maybe a vid would help.

Thanks, Staub. I debated this with myself over and over. It didn't fit what I had in mind at the time. I may revise this in the future.

The NES sprite of him with the knife in the background near the tree would be cool for a Halloween update.. I love cameo stages

So it's Friday the 13th. And...well...I got a stage for that. 2 versions. I think my boy Alpine sent me these. You know the deal. Better late than never.

UPDATED!!!

Carmell improved a bunch of visual aspects as well as coded the new animations. Now has a day, sunset and night version. No more 1.1 version but the quality of the stage is substantial. Enjoy!

Not bad, but ¿can you add clouds or something to the sky?, feels empty with zoom out. Or maybe one alternative edition with things like this.

Thanks, but probably no clouds will be added. I typically don't draw clouds from scratch, so unless the original has clouds you moast likely won't get any from me.
