Slight update already!

Yeah, I think I'm getting the basic layout done at least, but those arms are argh to me. Probably gonna try to finish the skull at the very least, and see how it looks...maybe I'll do some MBs after this! : D

Heres a Shock I made for Millia along with my progress on your shock.

As you can see I got the layout for her.Do you like Millia's Sprite?As you can see there was some edits from Dizzy's sprites that are noticeable.

I really like Millia's shock, though the 3rd could be inverted better I think. It's harder to do since the electric aura is there of course ^^;;

And hey, that's what my stuff's there for. To be used, since they ARE open-sourced anyways ^^. I'd almost say try a shock for May if you want, though dunno if you'd try it from scratch or not. It'd be hard to do it for her.

Glad you like it.About the 3rd one I referenced off Dizzy's Shock with the same color.(Dizzy had that white color for the 3rd frame.)
I'll give May a shot,though that anchor she's wielding could get in the way. :S

Oh and I won't forget my 2 current shocks. :P

Well, the anchor you won't even have to change color. Metal never changes color (take a look at Guile for instance. His dog tags are still there, as are the metal stuff Birdie's wearing), so that anchor won't be an issue. I could give you a sprite to work with if you really want to work off of it. Up to you.

Believe it or not, I have some motivation to actually work on this! Probably because I don't feel like doing anymore vids for a while (got 200 some vids stockpiled....). Anywho, no...I didn't finish Mina's shock yet. I'll do that here shortly. I plan on adding extra stuff to both sprites so its more custom, unless someone wants to do that. Anywho, I decided to work on Cirno's MB, believe it or not. Yeah....haven't touched spriting in forever, and I think it's starting to get to me. For those who want to see what I'm attempting...

For those wondering what I'm trying to do, yes, there is a difference between the last 2 sprites, being the left leg (her right leg). If you can see, I'm trying to move the leg to a more.....neutral position as time goes on (which I plan on doing for the rest of the body), but considering I have NEVER once attempted to do an animation for this (save for Sion's Midnight Bliss, but I used Iori's MB to help with that), this is ridiculously hard to do x_x

Reimu, do I sent you my CvS-SF3 chun li electro shock? I had problems with my old PC and I don't remember if I did it, just for having them again.

Thanks man!
I swear there was something cool here!!

I think you did? I'm not sure so if you need to, resend it again. Who knows? I might touch up on it at a later date ^^

Alrighty, might be last post for the day. If not, then one more post, but I'm just trying to get some progress done. Here's what I have on the animation of the legs so far (from 1st to 2nd sprite....):

I have to say....that wasn't TOO hard to move the legs, but oy vey.....I think that the right leg (Cirno's left leg) just....doesn't look right, and probably isn't further down enough....hmmm.....x_x

If you have to see how it animates, try opening both in two tabs and switch between them. ^^;

Anywho, been working on Cirno's MB (no, no draining yet), and been trying to get legs in position for the 3rd sprite....however, as I've already said, I suck horribly at animations (hell, I don't even consider myself a good spriter so....^^;; ) and well.....this is what I have so far on the entire MB (the last two sprites will be side by side. I'll explain them when I get them posted:

Moved her right leg (Cirno's left leg) to the left 1 pixel.

This sprite, was originally going to be the 3rd sprite, but considering how that leg turned out...yeaaah...

This is currently what I'm working on. I think it's close to how it would be for the next positioning, but I just can't get it right....I don't know why D: Something about the leg just bothers me, as it doesn't have that ( ) to it, if you know what I mean.

calves need to be fuller and slightly curved inward, that unshaded leg on the last frame looked more like arm  :)

Yeah, I haven't figured out how to make it look right yet though. This was like....my 4th attempt at trying that leg, and just...ugh x_x lol

Well, I ripped a shock sprite for Maki from SFA3.....from the GBA version. Granted, I heard that the sprite quality was bad, but I didn't know it was BAD. Here's the sprites (note that I couldn't remove ALL layers....VBA doesn't do that it seems....).

Yeeeeah....that's bad. Why did I get it then? Because I wanted to....that, and it's different than the one in SFA3 Max for PSP. Now, I have a challenge for anyone that wants to put their spriting skill to the test. See both of those sprites? Try and convert them into CvS style (there should be some CVS Makis floating around there somewhere. Pick whichever one you think is the best and go from there). Why don't I do it myself? Because I think I have more than enough on my plate as it is (30 some Midnight Blisses is a lot to do x_x), and I always wanted to do a challenge type thing. Can't really say there's any prize to this, except the satisfaction that you did it and that it'll be part of the next patch batch that I bring out ^^;;

I Think the SFA3MAX shock sprites are the same as the gameboy one.

Indeed. They're much MUCH better than the GBA sprites, that's for sure ^^;
