That would practically mirror Ryu's own path, who was an ascetic right up until the start of this game and has struggled to control or tame the Satsui No Hado, only now finding his center after cultivating connections to the world outside of ansatsuken, namely whatever is going on between him and Chun Li (and I'm certain there is something going on, if he's started using a renamed Kikosho - see the earlier speculation spoiler of mine).

Now Ken, who was always about his connections to the world outside of his growth as a warrior (Eliza, Mel, being a business dude to begin with), has given all that up and lost something of himself in the process. Maybe Gouki's return is due to him seeing potential in Ken now, having given up hope for Ryu?

An openly trans person(no matter if it's a woman or a man) would be cool. Not just for attract queer people(we love SF too!), but for giving VISIBILITY to them, being a part of the game as they are part of the society too(when I wanted to do my game with OC, I designed a trans man, and old woman, etc).
Also, my thoughts on the newcomers:

- Luke: I prefer this design over the one from SFV. SPECIALLY THE HAIR. Also, his backstory seems(by the moment) boring and uninspired)
- Marisa: WHY NOT HAVING A TALL MUSCULAR WOMAN? It's cool! Reminds me of the character Stigya I designed years ago(precisely for that MFG Street Fighter project). Seems like Vanessa's original design from VF4 has evolved.
- Jamie: Cool vibes, dude. Cool vibes. Even his braid looks cool in artwork, there's something that bugs me in his 3D model. Also, combining breakdance with drunken fist is clever as Hell. I don't know if he's tied to Lee in any manner, since he's inspired by Yun and Yang and remember: last Lee's design in Capcom original file has him with drunken fist.
- Mimi: I'd like to know more of her. It would be cool that she happens to be Abel's original design, who was a young girl but now grown. Also, the lines from SFxT in Abel "I like bears" it's like "Hi, I'm about to get out of the closet, I love beefed hairy men".
- Lili: Why not putting a latin girl from, let's say, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Ecuador, etc? Mexico is an awesome country and all, but if you tie EVERYTHING to T.Hawk and his tribe(let's say Noembelu or El Fuerte) ends being boring as Hell. I understand those rackets with ball(guess what will be her projectile) and inspired in the Aztec game, but please, leave Hawk's tribe out of this for once. I hope Lili doesn't end being Hawk's daughter or else.
- JP: Russian dandy using Psychopower. WHY PSYCHOPOWER? Well, he might steal Ingrid's jewel or else. But leave the Psychopower only to Ed, who's also the character using it. Let's give JP another power as they gave gold/Gaia power to G. Dunno. I love the design and all, but the Psychopower is getting boring after...how many?30 years?
- Kimberly: OF COURSE I LOVE KIMBERLY END OF STORY.
- Sharon Needles A.K.I: Chinese misteryous woman with sharp claws and poison. Seems someone in Capcom loved Lana Lei from "Nina: Death by Degrees". White haired misteryous woman with claws, poison and a long half revealing gown. No complains here, I love that design.

Is Gill alive at the end of SFIII? Because I really don't like JP's design that much and A.K.I looks a lot more interesting as a villain, but I have to question why either of them would be the main villain if this is after SFIII, unless Gill died.

Another thing I noticed about the leaks is that the character that we're speculating to be Damnd isn't in that roster, nor is the girl that Chun-Li is fighting (speculated to be Li-Fen). I assume the leaked roster still isn't the complete thing.

Really few chances Li-Fen not to make it to the starting roster. The way they worked her design cannot be just for a "NPC".
About Damnd, I though it too, but seems lik he also appears in the background of a stage. Strange.

That happened previously in Tekken 5 and 7 where you can see Lee in the Pool Party Stage. If you choose any character, you'll see Lee chillin' around with the girls, but if your choice is Lee, the seat may be empty or...filled with Tiger Jackson. So I wouldn't throw the chances of him not being playable. Seehis design has been improved and else.
