UMT Tournament 6 (12/18/2021) will be streamed live tomorrow, January 2, 2022 at 3PM PDT.

Due to IKEMEN GO .98, there were some issues with DefenceMulSet behavior that ruined the balance of some characters. Despite that, it was still a good tournament. Tune in tomorrow!

On a side note, we are pleased to announce our upcoming tournament (season 6) for UMT next Saturday, December 18, 2021.

This Q is amazing! A must keep for any serious POTS user. I didn't use Q in 3S, but I did get my ass wooped by my older brother back in the day by Q. Now with Mugen/IKEMEN GO, I'll get a chance to use him and make him shine.

After already loading him into my IKEMEN GO games, some of the fighters in my community are already loving this Q as well, including me. Stay tuned for more actual fight footage in our tournaments, in the near future.

Man this sync issue really annoys the hell out of me.

Does anyone here use the free sync/G sync crap ?  maybe this is causing it.
Ill fiddle around with it some more and do a fresh install of the GPU drivers.

VSync? Possibly try turning it off for now.

Q with some POTS style EX attacks is gonna be really fun. He basically has the parry and EX moves from 3S, which already were pretty good. but he'll also have roll, meter charge, reverse roll, and alpha cancel? This guy is gonna be nasty. Q is gonna be pretty unique.

hey, no problem dude. BTW, IKEMEN GO 98.1 was released earlier today. So, no more glitches!



Gacel and K4thos just recently implemented the [WinCount] feature for lifebars. So now it keeps track of your wins in matches. Also, most of your MUGEN stuff should natively transfer over to IKEMEN GO just fine.

(I know, MUGEN doesn't even keep track of your friggin' scores. Imagine running tournaments blindly like that. Score keeping is a bitch to do in our previous tournaments)

There are a few new additions, such as adding new [RATIO MODE] [NETWORK MENU] and also getting the ratio numbers to display on your lifebar and enabling the newer modes on your screenpack. (Literally it's like copy and paste, takes 5 seconds)

Please, I have a problem with the scale of portraits in the 0.98 version. To add portraits in the system I use animations in select, versus and winner screens ( p1.face.anim ), I try with spr and works well. The problem it's with characters that have different value of 1 in the size part of the .cns archive:
[Size]
xscale = 1           ;Horizontal scaling factor.
yscale = 1           ;Vertical scaling factor.

In this case, the scale of the character in the .cns file it's 0.3

I try to put 1 in the scale and modify the size with localcoord but the char moves strange. Any ay to solve it?

My last question it's because I see that there are 2 different system files, the one that it's in the data folder or in the mugen1 folder and another that it's in the data folder too but it's named system.base, wich it' s better? I think the secon have more posibilities. Thanks in advance.

One thing I want to make clear is that when you import MUGEN screenpacks.... you should not replace/overwrite any files. You should be using the BlazBlue's original system.def. Make a copy of your Blazblue screenpack folder, and put it as a separate folder in your /data/ folder. Name is "blazblue_SP" or something.

After you do that, go into config.json which is in your IKEMEN GO/save/ folder. You might need to open config.json in Notepad+++ if you are getting display issues.

Change the motif in config.json and have it load data/blazblue_SP/system.def or something like that. Save and close.

Run the game. Your game might crash due to file location errors. Fix those file location errors. Remember what I said earlier about creating a separate folder for your BB screenpack? You have to edit your BB SP's system.def and make sure the [Files] section is loading the correct directory. Like data/Blazblue_SP/system.sff...system.snd.... etc... etc

There is absolutely NO REASON to recode a screenpack for IKEMEN GO. If you do things properly, it should load screenpacks natively. The only editing you do, is adding the IKEMEN GO features, which is very easy.

Sorry for the bump but I would just like to ask, last time I spoke to Gacel and k4thos my understanding was that they have merged their builds into one.
Please correct me if I am wrong but if that is not the case what is the difference between Gacel's fork and K4thos's one ?

Also im unsure if its my PC or something but the engine kinda runs choppy for me and I recently picked up a brand new PC so I doubt its the specs on it.

I feel its like something with the refresh rate of my monitor.

What Gacel said is correct. Turn off V-SYNC. (At least for now, in the future it may be more stable)

Also if you can, turn on MSAA and enable HQx4, it'll make your game look BEAUTIFUL! (Only if it works though. IF you get a black screen, means your card dont support it)

Currently, IKEMEN GO .98 has a few small glitches, so please note there will be another build release very soon. The glitches pertain to memorization between rounds for Turns Mode (I think singles as well).

If you need help adapting your current MUGEN game to IKEMEN GO, feel free to hit me up. That means converting your preferred MUGEN screenpack and lifebars and adapting them to IKEMEN GO. It's really easy, it's just like doing it the MUGEN way, but you're just adding more functions like NETWORK MODE and etc.

Hello, good to hear some classic SF2 stuff is in the works. I highly recommend following the gold standard of felineki's SF2 Akuma. Or at least, close to, as best as you can, to something like that.
