The premise of this game and what we can see seems pretty neat. Though some of the UI remind me of the previous two games. The rotating ring mechanic during battles seems interesting depending on how well they'll handle it. I'm cautiously optimistic on this one.
Also, Panel de Pon is coming to Switch online, which I believe marks its first ever release outside of Japan despite becoming internationally recognized through Smash Bros.

I know Tetris Attack is it's own whole thing with a bunch of spinoffs and whatnot, but the original game never left actually left Japan despite become really well known among the Nintendo community. Also, the Chinese trailer for the new Paper Mario showed off partner characters in combat, but was quickly taken down.Which either means it's a scrapped feature that accidentally got left in this particular cut of the trailer or - much more likely because Nintendo does this shit all the time - that's a feature they didn't mean to reveal yet and are trying to bury it.
a little gameplay, in the first trailer it was seen that Mario had HP in 150/150 I hope that he can level up by winning fights, also apparently if you align certain types of enemies in this case the goombas increases the damage and that you can only move the rings a limited number of times (maybe with some object you can increase the amount), I guess you have to think of a good strategy when more enemies appear randomly
Honestly this looks like a pretty neat mechanic. I just hope that the enemy and troop formation design is good enough so that players need to use the ring well in order to succeed.

Indie World summer presentation coming tomorrow. Don’t expect Hollow Knight Silksong, or Cuphead DLC (Delicious Last Course) to show up though.
Double post. This was obviously inevitable but never give you’re hopes up if they do this next month as well.Another f2p game on Switch, only this time it’s more popular than a majority of the f2p’s on switch.Square Enix brings three more OG Gameboy classic to the Switch later this year. And finally, a sequel nobody wanted, that’s also coming to current and next gen consoles.
Huh? I thought Puyo Puyo Tetris was a hit. Didn't get it myself but never heard a word of bad about it and saw a number of streamers on it for a while. Think it just got overshadowed by that Tetris battle royale, if I'm remembering turn of events correctly?I was interested in the first, just never ended up getting it. Nice to hear it got a sequel though.
Long John Killer said, August 26, 2020, 09:20:45 pmnever heard a word of bad about itSurprisingly, I hated it after a while. Its not because I hate puyo puyo or tetris in general, I feel like it was going way too fast (even at lower difficulties it can be a quite of a b***h sometimes. yeah total noob I am :V) I wanted to like it just because I kinda played puyo puyo fever back on my gamecube and it pretty fun and easy and doesn't require any massive chain reactions most of the time, but I might think twice and get the sequal anyway cause I thought I saw some intresting stuff that I think could be difficulty improvements (for me at least :P).

That was the highlight of the direct for me. I didn't think we'd see the Tetris characters in another Puyo game, but I guess this is one way to bring them back.Bastard Wolf said, August 27, 2020, 10:10:46 pmOrochi Gill said, August 26, 2020, 10:20:14 pmWhy would I not want more PPT?YES! more love for PPT!... wait.Maybe one day we'll get a stream of PPT playing PPT.
