Sorry, but this doesn't feel like SFA2 Dan.

From the custom combo, which should make Dan move forward during the entirety of the meter loss, to combo-ing crouching attacks and while still crouching he stands instead;
I mean, if I keep pressing down, any attack, the first attack will be a crouching attack but the next one will be a standing attack;

the comboability is light-medium-heavy, which was not a thing in SFA2;

you can't connect a single Gadouken from a crouching medium kick too (and I guess other attacks too);

any Gadouken, with proper timing, can be an infinite in the corner;

the timings on the animations feel very slow; (probably because they weren't checked with the Turbo setting in the game);

the supermoves are difficult to perform because you listed them in the wrong order in the .cmd file: difficult input should be placed higher than easier inputs;
so you can never actually input the lvl 2 or lvl 3 supers; come on, you should know that;

that doesn't just mean the [command], but also the [changestate]

why are the wrong inputs used?
these would be impossible to do anyway, read the point above;

the last attack of the Hisshou Buraiken doesn't hit Dan;
the last attack of the Koryuurekka doesn't hit Dan;

s.MK doesn't hit twice;

Light Koryuken has a "Koryuken" guard sound :???:

if Dan gets hit while in Custom Combo the after image will remain there;

there's probably other stuff to check: this character should stay in the oven for a bit more.

I know you said "based on SFA2" but then you say it's a real SFA2 experience, it honestly doesn't feel like it.
You should check the timings of the original game more; there are also people very passionate about these games so I'm sure they will help you with artmoney/cheatengine stuff, values, alignments and whatnot.

It's weird how the version without the password has less stuff than the version with the password.

The password protected version has more frames for his tired state, some sprites for the attacks are better and, if you wanted and you worked on it more, you could make palettes too.

The problem is it can't run on Mugen 1.0 because the author forgot to remove some periods "." in some states. Easy to fix if you check the message and use Fighter Factory 3.

The version without the password can't run on 1.0 because its SFF is only compatible with 1.1, not having palettes anymore.

The character looks smaller than it should, in my opinion. It could be scaled bigger than it is. If you check the size with KFM, he looks like a small man.

You have a topic for a project, use it for project, not to spam memes.
You want to make a meme channel, go in the All That's Left section and make your meme topic there.

Remaining on topic isn't so difficult, some jokes are okay, but don't make them become the norm. Otherwise you'll just create chaos and misunderstandings.

Blazblue uses sprites
Guilty Gear Xrd and Strive use 3D models
all the Guilty Gear games prior to Xrd and Strive use sprites.

Since it's not something you would sell but a fan art/gift, why don't you re-trace it (on a separate layer) and do your thing from there?
You could directly re-trace the Menat pose and while tracing you add the details you need to make it look like the VTuber you're giving the sprite to.

Unless you're really, really good at editing a picture of a 3D model with simply pixels added on top, I suggest you to:
(this is my opinion)
1- retrace the 3D model completely and while doing that you make it look like the character you're intent on showing;
2- or you could use the "small" sprite you had, rescale it (if you wanted it to make it bigger) and do what I said on point 1.

As it is now, I don't think it'll end up well. I mean, for consistency sake.
It looks 2D, but it isn't 2D, it's still a 3D model. The parts you're going to add on are going to look different from other parts of the sprites you didn't touch (unless, again, you're a monster at editing 3D model pictures)

And wait, weren't you supposed to use the Menat pose instead of the Jam idle? You said you would use the first, then the second/third one: which is it, the first, the second, both?

The same tools you use to draw anything, you use them to make CPS2 sprites. The only thing that differs is how they're drawn, no software will tell you how to do that: there's plenty of reference from the Capcom games, use those.

As for your question about the arms being too long or too short, you need to consider the resolution the games (Street Fighter Alpha, MvC series) have and use references from those games to be really sure, after that, it's just guessing.
At a first glance I think the length is correct.

If you want to show it in a bigger scale, I suggest to scale it by 400% or 800% instead of an uneven number, otherwise weird pixellation occurs and the proportions aren't right.

Don't take this edit 100 percent seriously, guys. I get how ridiculous it looks, but that was the whole point of this edit. I want to keep characteristic elements from both fighters. If i got rid of this shaking hand and his boots, he would turn just into another shoto with Bison's head.

My post was a joke too. The shaking arm thing, the dice shaking, whatever you want, was a joke. :mlol:
That's also why I used :idea: at the end of the post.
