Note: working with a cheap laptop and some MUGEN backups
i had since my main new computer is down, its a struggle
Have no access to all the SFX and GFX , tools and programs
that one has. Luckily i have some backups on this laptop
-redo some sound FX voices and add them to SND file
- image edit Clouds 2 portraits for transperency
- add portraits 9000,0 and 9000,1
- issue with small portrait 9000, 0
tried moving the images to the very back of the sprite file
and image has its own pallete, for some reason it looks
like garbage in-game
updates 5/30/2020
-redone and edited in audacity alot of voices
- added more Voices into SND file
- Coded Victory sounds and now you can choose Victory quote
- Coded more voices into all of his super moves
- tried to fix SMALL PORTRAIT 9000_0, still shows up like garbage in-game
re-inserted a new image for it, still not working
Loaded all sprites into MCM, and unchecked previous pal
for all GFX sprites and portraits, still not working
-GFX sprites somehow got bad on day 5/29/2020, after adding
portraits (9000 series) re-fixed most of them
ClimHazard and High Slash GFX permanently ruined since
- Fixed Omnislash being able to be blocked after rush and during the last
slash.
update 5/31/2020 , 4:00pm, Sunday
- Volume is still low on alot of voices when tested
- increased the volume on some voices/SFX
- edit more voices
- added more voices for the combo enders
- Coded CROSS SLASH, GFX added,
fine tune Cross Slash FX,SFX,
- more repositioning of super FX
- Added KO PALFX to lv1 Supers for dramatic finish
thankfully easy because i just found out
the PALFX easy code insert in Fighter Factory
- repositioned CLIMHAZARD onto another key.
- adjusted Cross Slash combo ability in Command file.
- rigourous test CROSS SLASH and OMNISLASH for good connectivity
- ISSUE- Unable to set CROSSLASH's GFX to opponents location,
- 1ST hits' GFX not spawning (helper), the other
2 hits do spawn
SOLVED 8PM: had to reposition GFX to 0,0
then play with the values of positioning
which took really long, this was confusing
because of how the FX was facing,
- OMNISLASH fine tuning
- added guard damage to all hits
- added P2 bounce to the final slash for more dramatic finish
- PARTIAL FIX for it connecting in air using TargetBind
which took long because i didn't really know the
TRIGGER words for coding, had to read docs
UNSOLVED ISSUES
- Tested Super moves, Climhazzard has some issues from range, UNSOLVED
- OMNISLASH isn't connecting in air after the initial series of hits
side slash keeps missing - PARTIALLY SOLVED (the physics
sucks)
-SMALL PORTRAIT still looking like hells garbage in-fight
-06/20/2020 - RELEASE DATE features
-new HYPER, ARTwork (hand drawn, /colored/edited/converted/coded/tested)
-this took quite a while to finish from blank page to finished
custom ODIN SUMMON as Cloud's esper/odolon from the FF series.
Since im only using GIMP, some parts of gimp is hard to use
like you cant select alot of layers at once, final stages of
indexing to palette took time because its "CUSTOM" palette is not the
same as Photoshop and cannot choose colors as it can, so had to
just take a chance and reduce colors because it duplicates the index color
- this took about a month+
- new finish background custom edited and animated (not smooth right now)
- new custom movelist image (supers shown only)
