Hey JMorph, just a quick question... how does this work with the other sprites?
Say for example, I wanted to go edit Warusaki3's CVSKYO. What is uploaded here is a spritesheet and a palette pad or something. (sorry I've never done this before) Anyways, is this a template so other people look through and follow the same color format or osmething?

Well, to start, they aren't spritesheets, they're in individual images. The template is just so you can tell what color corresponds to what area on the sprite.
Anyways, if you want to add these sprites to Waru's Kyo, you'd basically have to go through the entire sff and replace each sprite, one by one.

The sprites are already released, people can use the sprites for their project, Jmorphman already did his job. If you want the palettes make them yourself or ask someone.

Tiny things like that on 297, 303, 341, 400, 406, 413, 549, and 589. There was at least one more, but I fixed it before I started taking notes.
Also, Chun-Li's lose by timeout animation 197,0 - 197,6 isn't contained in the zip.

This is really cool. Remind me when I get around to updating the sprite rips stickies to use these as the "official" and recommended rips.
Instead of listing by game we can pick particular rips to be official and keep adding onto them. No use in several people ripping the same character when they can use their time adding to this pack.

Oh right, that. I'll include it with the update. But I don't remember who did that edit, maybe it was Felo?

Those were by Felo, he made new ones, which are the ones I used.

I'm trying to make characters using Kong's rips and they aren't even in any kind of order making sprite-editing irritating.
I'm editing Amy from Maki, Yuri, Guile and Mai.
The Ken, Joe and Chun-Li sprites will certainly be helpful.

OK I fixed all those issues with Chun-Li's sprites, and added the SFA lose by timeout and CvS1 intro vs Mai sprites by Felo_Llop.

I did find one whole sprite out of Ken's 627. Ken_548.pcx has his teeth color set to his eye color.

also as a heads up, I'm in the middle of updating everyone, I missed a sclera shade for pretty much everyone at the very least, and some are getting more thorough overhauls (like Ken). Right now Joe and Chun-Li have been updated, but I hope to have everyone else done soon.
Oh and the updates will all use Insanius's rips. Sorry, JNP, but... one (mostly) standard axis and totally complete sets! I'M SOOOOORRRRRRYYYYYYY D:

While you are at it, please add more seperation to Kyo as well, so we can finally have 2k3-XIII Kyo.

Yes, that would be all of them. All the sprites would look weird if I made Kyo's bare forearms the same color as his jacket. You can't take away his rolled up T-shirt sleeves and replace them with long jacket sleeves just with color separation. That requires actual spritework.
